"Don't you know how much I love you? That makes me a human" broooo the second lead syndrome hit so hard during that scene I'm so glad he was the villain and there were no second leads or else I'd be crying my eyes out by now
I somehow feel it's good that Joon woo turned into the villain. Cause if didn’t then maybe we viewers can't be able to take this second lead syndrome. Without having any romance scenes this two gave us mesmerising chemistry.
As a sadistic, sociopath he truly did love her as much as he was able to love anyone and it’s a massive heartbreak to know no matter how much he did care they really couldn’t be together.

I wonder if that’s one of the many reasons why he went after Vincenzo so hard is bc of how close she was getting close to Vincenzo.
