The Queen of Pop Janet Damita Jo Jackson experienced a very akward interview with a most unusual interviewing host and handled it professionally. Janet is humble and very shy. It really amazes me that Janet and her brother Michael both such soft spoken, shy, humble people offstage once onstage they become complete powerhouses with performances of perfection. Long live the King and Queen of Pop!

See how they always ask about her work. With Michael they're ask about his personal affairs, always trying to degrade him. they don't care about his work.

Her facial expression changed when he mentioned Superbowl. She must've been so sick to hear that, but Janet is a very decent woman, she kept on smiling and being polite. She definitely got this Queen mannerism.

It really is an awkward interview. Although I think that Janet handles it really well. It seems like the interview guy tries to make her uncomfortable on purpose but I don't know if that is just his style. I loved the interview because it has Janet Jackson though.Thanks for posting.

This is so boring and I can tell Janet' rather be somewhere else too.

Why would he ask her that question. That's so disrespectful. The whole world knows she was embarrassed when that incident happened to her. She is so humble and sweet. She was raised so well. Any other celebrity would of went off on him or walked off . The fact that she stayed and tolerated that uncomfortable situation says a lot about the amazing person that she is.

Im glad that Superbowl thing is now a THING-OF-THE-PAST. I think we all realize now how dumb and blown out of proportion it was. Who cares, I sure as hell didn't. I thought that was one of her most amazing performances ever, up until Justin entered the stage. If you think about it he actually ruined the whole thing. And I loved the Damita Jo album.

This interview was made during a tumultuous time in career, it's like her label forced her to do heavy promotion to promote DamitaJo overseas, where that malfunction was no big deal and still isn't. Unfortunately MTV is global and halted all of her efforts. That album still kicks ass!

The interviewer was such a jerk, he wasn't funny, he was just disrespectful, they didn't even play her music, they played Prince instead. She looked very uncomfortable for the most of the interview. She should have walked off once he bared his nipple just to mock her.

the host is literally one of the most accomplished people on german tv. i doubt someone got fired.

I think the whole point of his show is absolute randomness. I have to laugh at all the comments who say he's a terrible interviewer, how dare he ask her about the Superbowl haha that's the whole point of his show. Maybe her people didnt brief her. Watch the interview with Mel B, she was much more at ease and it was funny. It's like going on Howard Sterns show and being offended to get asked about sex.

Janet is so lovely and sweet…She was very polite in making it clear that she does not discuss the Super Bowl incident anymore, and he proceeds to make light of the whole thing by having fake Nii-less with nipple rings and whatever on them, like seriously?? Janet was laughing along, however it was such a cringe moment in relation to the interviewer….Then when she was fiddling with the gadget, saying that she likes gadgets and he’s talking about “put it back, don’t take it at home with you”, after she so willingly gave him the fur accessory that she was wearing?? Very, very distasteful!!

It looks as if she was a bit upset that he made those nipple ring jokes,and had them pasted on his chest.Yikes.

In 2004 every interviewer except Ryan Seacrest talked about the Superbowl incident trying to get insight into Janet's thoughts in the aftermath even though she absolutely didn't want to talk about it. It's pretty fucked up that she was trying to immediately move past it yet it loomed over her for over a decade until last year essentially.
