Sadly... no one knew this dear little one was in such a dark & painful place. But oh... how she has grown. She has found her OTHER voice. A new & powerful voice. A voice from deep within her. Still that of an angel, THIS voice is the voice of recovery & mental health. Tho ALWAYS loved... she's safe now. She's brave. She's strong. And at last... she's happy. God bless her.🙏♥️🇺🇲✌

I usually like heavier music, but there is something so humble and genuine about this girl that you can't not love. Hope she goes far.. she really is talented!

I really think devlin is one of the best that ever came out of xfactor and even American idol , along with Kelly Clarkson. unbelievable voice control.

That's the Janet Devlin I fell in love with. Oh get out of your comfort zone/Oh get back to your roots. Seriously? The reason we loved her originally was b/c of her great voice and endearing personality. and, she's from Ireland :)

Yeah, X Factor really screwed with her, until she just said screw it I'm doing my thing, win lose or draw.

Janet's voice is just already amazing as a whole, no autotune, no adjustments, it's just simply beauty.

I discovered Janet in 2023 watching the x factor 2011. Her voice is magic ❤ Brings goosebumps.

She is drop dead gorgeous and so talented

Janet's rendition of Elton John's Your Song is still the one performance I go back to every time I'm feeling down, even after all these years.

among all her song, my most favorite is "Your Song".,..That's the first time I fell inlove with her voice..

I miss the old cracks in her voice. It's starting to seem like she is trying to get rid of them. Not that it's bad, but it would be nice to bring it back. But still, even without the cracks, she is amazing.

I love her voice because its just so unique. I could listen to it and recognise her straight away.

You cannot denine her god given talent ..... she is from one of the most political places on earth ...... I too have family from Northern Ireland and am 5 generations in Canada .... I too am the same as Janet .... no one will ever walk on or take advantage of this girl , same as me .... she has her faults , but they are faults not to be screwed with .... she is naturally gifted , a freak of nature ... This performance was uniquely Janet (in the same vein that her audition was) and that's why I LOVED it. The last thing this girl needs is the glutinous monster that is the 'old guard' music industry. The X Factor tried and damn near succeeded in destroying her. In today's world you can be successful without the fame, fortune and crap that goes with it. It's the great part about this socially connected world we live in. As for the X Factor, Janet did say she wanted to grow as a person and I'm sure being on the show was one hell of a life experience for her. Stay true to yourself, get savvy at social marketing and your fans will find you.

I like to think that's what "Walk Away" is about... the need to re-evaluate, and walk away from X Factor, before she's painted into a corporate corner of cloned music. Yes, it's probably about a break-up... but the words are equally applicable.. couldn't have been easy to walk away from that world that the show fostered, but i strongly believe it was the absolute best decision.

I feel sorry for her talents not being known worldwide. She has a great talent. She's better than some girls dressing with skanky clothes and putting so much make up on and works with auto tune! She has a great great voice!

WOW her voice is amazing & she moves me every time she sings... Love her voice!!!

My god! Who would know that her voice would be so unique!! A seventeen year old girl with a voice like an angel and another angel put together! On a scale of one to ten I would totally give her a ten.

I have been a musician all of my life. I have heard singers that were amazing but NEVER have I heard a more beautiful voice! WOW!!!

Janet you are amazing I love your vocals and will always be a fan and hopefully see a gig one day

I saw her audition on x factor and just had to see and hear more, and more, and more, and more. Stunning voice, so unique, so genuine, so moving. All that aside, her songwriting is VERY impressive! As she was singing that song all I wanted to know was who wrote it, and I'm so glad that she said that she wrote it. That girl's a true musician. That is an excellent song and I hope she's recorded it and it's somewhere that I can hear it over and over and over again. If she can write one song that well, she can write a hundred, and there you have a superstar. Anyone can sing, but it's a true artist who sings their own songs. Well done Janet Devlin. Never stop pursuing your dreams.

That girl that came out at the end completely embarrassed Janet. She could of went along with what she was saying and not embarrass her. So what if she's not watching the show.. she told you she was always busy.. mean ass women!! Janet I love you and your voice! Keep your head up girl!!

Janet ;_; That confidence she built up seemed to have just crashed down... It looks as if she feels she'll be rejected by everyone. I think when she lost X Factor, she went right back in that shell. This makes me so sad, this girl is just so cute and talented I can't even.

Absolutely amazing! Hair color doesn't affect the soul in a person's voice!! Totally original and inspiring - Walk Away is proof that this girl has soul! Love it!

Janet has such a unique and amazing voice! She had her ups and downs throughout the competition yet her voice just grew bigger and more amazing. Love all her music and she is a true inspiration ♥ Love You Janet! ♥♥♥

Arc Kocsog I agree with you about it but to me, the biggest mistake is that they changed her hair color! I mean I love ginger hair but she had a perfect natural color and was looking perfect as she was and i really don't like how the people in these musical shows try to change everyone's personnality.

I love who she is,even if they had changed her looks she is still Janet and I think if you can keep who you are after every thing they put you through you will go far in life rather you sing or not she is an a mazing person I will buy her songs without adout Janet never change who you are even when others try your wonderful keep smiling God Bless

I didn't realize that I was tearing up during 'Walk Away' until my cousin tapped me on the head and told me to stop crying. I had the chills during her performance. It's... she's so captivating.

WE LOVE JANET DEVLIN, SHE'S AMAZING.

She has a childlike quality that is so real & rare that is hard for people to accept that it may go away. Is called maturing & moving on to a different stage in your life. That said, I think she's amazing & her essence is & will always be there; she has that extra something that most performers don't. She can paint a picture with her interpretation of every song she sings. However she dresses or does her hair or make up will never change that. Her "purity" is in her HEART, not her appearance.

She is perfect

i liked her old hair better. i also wish she had more songs on itunes.

I'm still mesmerized by her. She sings with tenderness, vulnerability, and sweetness. Truly the voice of an angel.

I watch Janet Devlin as often as I can. She is a great singer and more importantly a lovely and humble person!

Now it feels like she's even acting her voice. She really did change. Too much. She lost herself.

Lovely singing on both songs. I really like Janet. I think it's cute how she spoke with the audience, shows she can connect and later in life audience will remember her more and more. I also like that she doesn't need to sing super loud at the end to get your approval, the whole song is all value and heart. One of her auditions her vocals kinda reminded me of Ellie Goulding a bit. Janet is diffenitely her own voice though.

First time seeing this cut on her since the early very nice performances... What in the cornbread did they do to this lovely, very uniquely talented girl... Straight blond hair...??? Bartender's bow tie....??? Singing what...??? Wow, they sure know how to crucify a young talented girl... This whole thing looks so whimsical, it's cruel... Hope she recovered from this traumatic episode which, looks very much like it was forced on her... Shame on these people for doing this to her... Just awful...

I love her voice, her look (preferably the curly blonde hair) and her image. She's innocent, beautiful, and sweet all in one. Janet, can we be best friends? (I just heard her for the first time like 20 minutes ago, and now I'm obsessed.)

i know, and i love it! Her voice is fantastic, but her attitude and personality just pour through it and its just plain amazing.

Her voice literally brings me to tears. She's captivating, and leaves me breathless every time.

...or the making of her career. She may not have the most hyped career but it will be a long one because Janet makes music for the love of the art, not for fame & fortune. I've followed her career for the last 18 months & she is a really kind hearted, down to earth person with a hint of self-deprecation, & she has been wonderful to her fans.

She sings like a angel, looks like a angel and is amazing. I believe she may be angel!!

Steve Hill she's originally blonde but when she got through to the live shows x factor basically choose their looks and dyed her hair red. All she's done now is go back to her original hair colour

+Steve Hill , the show did force her to change her hair, they told her red hair emphasized the fact she was Irish.. She wasn't too fond of it but did it for the show

You have a really awesome and unique voice, Janet. I really loved your rendition of Your Song and Child O' Mine from The X Factor. You seemed very happy then, and I loved your child-like joy that permeated those performances. I see sorrow now, and it makes me sad. I pray you find the peace and simplicity you crave.

I can't believe she wrote the first song herself. I was trying to listen to the lyrics so I can look it up and learn it! She's amazing.
