Jane's Addiction is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. They were one of the first bands to emerge from the early 1990s alternative rock movement to gain mainstream media attention and commercial success in the United States. Their initial farewell tour launched the first Lollapalooza festival, an alternative rock showcase.

Glad I got to see it! Thanks in no small part due to Eric Avery, they redeemed themselves on this tour, after a disastrous Lolapalooza set I had to sit through a few years prior. Saw them again after the NIN/JA tour, on Uproar, and it was back to the ol' bullshit again. *sigh*
Stephen Perkins is an AMAZING drummer!! I don't think he gets the credit he deserves for being a percussion genius.
