This is basically my story. I'm recovering from a 15-year addiction to alcohol and drugs and all the hopelessness and desperation that they had brought in my life. God is great because he has delivered me from this bottomless pit ( mwatuka). This song is a blessing to me and i want to assure you that God heals, and it all starts with gratitude.

Whenever I hear this song I remember the year 2008 when I used to live in Kiganjo Thika in great poverty without even a house to sleep. I heard it for the first time and cried tears 😭😭 wished God could also deliver me someday. And in deed He did it. This song really blesses my soul. You are blessed woman of God. This reminds me of our mother who passed on earlier this year she was hospitalised and after a successful surgery she liked singing this song even as she said her last words she sang this song I'm so grateful she was preparing herself for the send of at 85 years God bless her wherever she is
