I started sobbing & crying so much to this edit. It just broke my heart to see them not ending up together in the show, even though they are fictional characters. I loved their relationship more than life itself and I felt Jane’s pain when she got the phone call Micheal was dead. I cried with her and just couldn’t believe it had happened.

Tess Matejczyk I have and I love those too, after Micheal died I began to adore their relationship.

Beautiful video! I used to be split on Raf/Jane, Michael/Jane. But the more distance I've had from the show, I am all the way team Michael. The Jane I knew would have always picked Michael. The ending just made no sense. She was so in love with him. She spent 3 years after his "death" mourning him and never moving on. I do not buy for one single second that she wouldn't have been with him the moment he got all his memories back.

They really deserved much better. Michael lost everything and Rafael acted like he was intruding when Michael (Jason) came back. He forced Jane to choose between him or her husband who she had loved so much and grieved for 4 years. If Michael hadn’t died, she would still be with him. Rafael was always the second choice. Michael was willing to leave so he didn’t disrupt Jane’s current life. Now her vision of Michael is ruined. She will no longer think of him watching over her. She won’t think of past memories and feel upset because she knows he’s alive and well with Charlie. If he had actually died, she’d be waiting to be reunited with him, because they were soulmates. It’s always been Michael.

This is so true, I just binged this show on Netflix! I know I’m all late lol but their love is written like a fairytale kinda love. The kinda love that is deep and beautiful. Best friends turned lovers. I was crying when Jane received the phone call. But I knew it was coming. I disliked Rafaels toxic self so much, I was going to stop watching after Michael died. But something told me to continue, and when Rafael and Jane finally got together again.. it hit me. Rafael loves Jane like he’s never loved anyone. He was in so much pain but he let her chose Micheal instead of confusing her all over again on her wedding day so she could have that fairytale love she dreamed of. Even tho he knew she was choosing the wrong guy. Jane wouldn’t have ever fallen for Rafael if she truly loved Michael period! I think it would’ve been a dis to Rafael if the only reason Jane chose him was bc Micheal died. That feels very second choice. The only reason they brought Micheal back was to prove Jane really did chose him after all. Micheal deserved better and in the end he also found his someone in Charlie.

i honestly don’t think there is any way rafael and jane would have end up together if michael didn’t “die”. remember how jane felt a spark with rafael and xo found a spark with rogelio? well even though jane found a spark with rafael she still found her way back to michael. he was always her happy ending, not rafael.

I decided to rewatch the show after I finished it, and not only has it taken the place of my favorite show, it’s made me an even avid shipper of Jane and Raf. I’ve always appreciated her and Michael, but from the get Jane and Raf were endgame. It was a telenovela and destiny is a BIG trope. But I really do love Jane and Michael so much. I just feel like they would’ve grown apart as time went on so I’m happy for Montana and I’m happy they both ended up happy. Beautiful video!!!

I just watched the series up until Michael’s death and then I cheated and watched his return in season 5. It makes me so sad they had him return to only have Jane break his heart again. For some reason their love story and them not getting their happily ever after has really effected me. I can’t stop crying when I think about them. I don’t know if it’s because I’m emotional about having to quarantine and not see my family and friends. But I don’t think I can watch the rest of the series. Seeing her mourn him for so long after to only have her choose Rafael at the end. I don’t think I could handle it. Do you recommend me watching the rest of season 3 at least?

I dont know if you watched the last part of S3, if not I recommend it since there are sweet more moments of Michael which is also painful but there are worth it. And i totally feel u, I ended the series a month ago and I blame the quarantine too or Idk what else but their love story affected me so much too. I can't understand how the writers did that to them. I know the original story was Jane and Rafael but in the original they didn't have a Michael, so they make a BIG difference that affected the endgame in my opinion, they went too far with Cordueva, if he have stayed dead then maybe yes if could have been "Destiny is throwing Jane to Rafael by removing everything in between" since M death was hinted in S1 so both love stories will have been respected but what they did felt the opposite. I kept watching after his death cuz in S2 I saw something that Brett was back in the final season but my innocence thought it would have been in flashbacks or Jane saying goodbye and moving on, didn't expect him to be actually back lol. I stopped the series after the montana episode 🤷🏻‍♀️

muffinBabby Thank-you for letting me know. I’ll be sure to watch the rest of season 3. Bringing Michael back so Jane could choose Raf over Michael cheapened Jane and Michael’s love sorry so much to me. You probably didn’t see the 98th episode where Michael comes back with a pregnant Charlie and they’re getting married. He wasn’t going to sign the permission form allowing him to be in Jane’s book because Charlie was worried Jane still has feelings for him. Which she realized they didn’t when she was eavesdropping on them. It was the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. I at least would have liked to have seen Jane defend Michael with Rose. Maybe have Jane push her down the stairs and say “this is for Michael”. I’ll just have to rewatch the first 2.5 seasons and end it right before he dies. Lol!

@@blissfuldaysdesignsandrear8418 yes, through S3 and S4 they kept mentioning Michael, i think mostly the last episode of S3 its the scene im talking about (a letter) and in S4 she had a "book tour" of Snow Falling (their book) and she sees the mom of Michael and some flashbacks of how Jane still struggled with him being gone (even a trauma she passed to mateo), and in episode 4x07 I think she has a moment with her favorite autor that was so moving, at the moment i enjoyed them because i thought a closure was coming up for her to be with Raf but never happened! until he was actually back and I couldn't believe it what they did. I actually hoped that the reason he was back was to be endgame lol, that after everything they kept founding a way to eachother. O I looked for that scene and, really? I mean I'm glad he is going to have a family of his own but that was rushed AF and just like "look, he happily move on in a few months, he is even getting married". What caught my attention was that even Charlie got from the book was that Jane was so in love with Michael to think they are destiny and soul mates so she wanted to be sure, maybe its my love for them being together but if Charlie got that from the book, Jane "didn't make" a good job explaining that Raf was the one. And for real! Just re-watch and stop before he dies hahaha or stop before she breaks up with him in Montana and well he moved to Miami again, the end lol. Ok I'm going to stop now hahah i wrote too much again.
