Agreed! Could listen to them for hours
"Make that connection. Take time to listen. My mother taught me that. She said, 'If somebody you disagree with confronts you, listen to what they say because maybe they've got some ideas that never occurred to you.'" This is really beneficial advice!

I know. And should you still find yourself disagreeing strongly with them, the listening will not have been for nothing, because it's probably built some trust and connection, and in turn, basis for convincing them of _your_ ideas ;) No, but seriously, really listening to someone is one of the best gifts you can give.

Your mother taught you right.
I do think of Jane Goodall not only as an ETHNOLOGIST but as an autodidact, an inspiration to us all.🙏👏🏼👍🏽❣️
What a great conversation! Thank you for allowing us to listen to these two dynamic, groundbreaking, and iconic women.
I'm so grateful to hear this conversation of the two great women
What a treat! Two of my favourite humans alive. Smarts and compassion pouring from the screen. One little note for Harper's: maybe *don't* put music under it?
It is lovely to be lifted up by the voices of two iconic sage women. 😊
So wonderful to listen to these two beautiful souls, imagine if people like this ran the world?! Its bittersweet for me as my Mama was born in 1935 and and has had dementia for the past 6 years sustained from a bad fall......I so wish she was still as bright and alert as Margaret and Jane🙏💗
I hadn't thought of these two speaking together before, but now that I see them I realise it's such a great pairing.
Please do more videos like these! Such an interesting discussion with such iconic women!
What a wonderful experience to listen to these two amazing women speak together.
Goodness gracious - 11 months ago and so few views and even fewer comments?!?! Such great souls! Pure inspiration and pleasure to listen to them. Thank you!!
Didn't want this to end. Such heroes.
I feel the same! Just feel honored to hear them both. Thank you 🙏🏻💝
Such a treat witnessing this conversation!! So much love & respect to both women. Such beautiful inspirations❣️❣️💫💫🤗🤗
Two absolute treasures. So appreciate this talk - thank you!
I am thrilled to stumble upon this fantastic conversation between two phenomenal female icons! It was wonderful to witness!!! Such beautiful, brilliant, female leaders! ❤🎉
What a beautiful moment to capture and to share with the world.
This is a pretty cool, meeting of exceptional female intellectuals. Love it! 🥰
What a privilege to be able to listen to these beautiful minds! Thank you so much for posting this ❤️
I think about the ongoing and worsening poverty of our natural world, and the lack of privacy and autonomy for “wilderness”. I think about the “endangered species’” of old growth areas. I have deep love for my world and spread what I have as much as I’m able, including the people I pass by every day.😊
What a video. In awe of these two icons. Thank you for this… also was great to hear Jane Goodall mention permaculture. I have hope. Not having hope is not an option. 💚
Two of my lovelies!!! I am not able to describe what I am feeling right now!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this iconic duo .🤗
These two giants and this video has been hanging around for much too long for these few views. Lets go humans! Use your brains, listen to these old folk who did and still do great things
Absolutely enjoyed their chat, wise women!
XD The leg talk killed me. Was hella funny. I love this video, its just nice to be able to listen to you two.
Love this discussion!!
Intelligence at its finest. What an exceptional interview.
Two of my favourite women.
OMG, my two super heroines in one conversation!!!
Thanks Harper's, Margaret and Jane.
I just love these beautiful ladies! Women to aspire to!!
Fascinating discussion!!! I felt as if I was sitting with contemporary sages.
Wonderful conversation...
Thank you Jane 🐒 😊
Wow! An incredible duo.
Much respect
Wonderful people, such inspiration.
Legends! 💡
Wonderful interview
💚Gracias, emocionante escucharlas.
This is why more older women need to be heard. They are so much more interesting than most of todays youth.
Wonderful women.
Hello Jane Goodall, hello again Margaret Atwood.
❤️❤️❤️
This was fun ❤
What a gift these two are! Sometimes I wonder how evolutionary psychology might be different today if Jane had studied bonobos instead of chimpanzees. It frustrates me that her work is often cited in support of a glass-half-empty view of human evolutionary psychology. I can’t help wondering if bonobos might have helped inspire a more positive glass-half-full view of human nature?

While a video of someone peeling a banana has millions of views, this video only has 5000 views. Tells us a lot about the state of the world.

Millions of your fans on the same page, Ladies.
And...what about the rich area of where climate change meets feminism? How did we miss that one ✨?

I am reading "The heart goes last" Atwood is terrifying because she knows the truth.
16:14 how are the Galapagos? Why don’t you both do a iPhone documentary together as friends, adventure over there and let us all know. Maybe livestream once in awhile?
What's with the background music?
Joseph Campbell commented on Jane Goodall's legs in his conversations with Bill Moyers. Oy.
I like your pretty video is very awesome.🤩

The Documentary can be called Legs, legs and more legs… throw in a little barefoot action - you can get donations from all kinds 😂 but to keep on track- you can focus on how each animal gets around and what obstacles they face just getting through the day. Conservation is being included with Climate Change at the UN 🇺🇳 that’s super cool!
Full of life in their advanced age. Bigi nfluential minds, we do not see such empathy in the newer world. Lesser meaning and lesser empathy in this lesser diverse world.

Jane, Jane, oh Jane and the monkeys in the woods
My manager has am expression
If you two had been listened to authentically, genuinely revered as they should have been, this world would be a totally different experience. Totally sad what patriarchy has done to the miracle of Gods world. Stupidity recirculated ad nauseam, the delicately engineered ego fails continually. Dead end man. Sorry you couldn’t see how listening to the complete nurturer could have altered the paths of humanity. Too many small minds working feverishly to demonstrate what ‘to do’ by action rather than understanding the miracles of simply being the best we could be. 22:16
I love Jane's responses to the feminist questions, she just brushes them aside for the most part, and wants to focus more on her accomplishments.

Jane was lucky enough to have a supportive mother and family, so she didn't need to fight that battle.
I admire Jane Goodall for her accomplishments towards humanity, not for her being a woman that has made accomplishments towards humanity. I suggest everyone who reads this do the same.

Why not both?
This is so interesting, but, sadly, they have taken the E short form of understanding climate change.
he married the wrong jane lol
Why don't you tell Bill Gates and Leonardo Dicaprio about cleaning the oceans? And other rich and famous people too who are really killing the ocean...
an early conservatonalist. really. he's the man, with literally billions before him.
Ask the hard question: What is a woman?
The word alone annoys me it takes away from everything. A takeaway. A self-absorbed demand that’s all it is. The planet doesn’t need women saying they have egos to satisfy that it has better things to do to neglect family and home. Men already have more than enough ego and competition on the planet and women want to join in as if that’ll make the planet a better place to live gee that’s intelligent. And I’m not sexist I’m a realist I was born knowing these women don’t appreciate what they already have head too big to be proud of who they already are don’t need a title to prove that popularity contest? Passé.
Why don’t you talk about masculinity, honestly this feminism stuff is getting a little wearing.

Did you not listen to what each of these two intelligent women had to say? They pointed out the superficial masculine interest in the worlds they experienced, each being bombarded by small minded men as the women continued to attempt to get through to them. The men choose ‘not to see’ the other side of the coin , so to speak. This world a duality of factors yet the mentally and spirituality challenged men in charge refused to acknowledge the importance of balance , and thereby maintained the imbalance of powers. Women don’t need to learn how to make war but the men certainly need to improve their ability to nurture and sustain a future without their need for violence against humanity, zoology, and biology. Just my observation. Too few men get the big picture and they didn’t make the picture so therefore they choose not to see it, I guess. God is within all beings not just a few. No human should play like they are God the creator. My thoughts. My hope that human kind can get its head out of its a88 before it’s too late.
