Jane is a terrific voice for common sense, but it is essential to grasp that Biden has fragilities that make him a risky choice. The DNC should never have interfered with the peoples' control over the primary, and forces RFK Jr to run independently. If Joe implodes as a candidate, it would have been far better to have a united party that has other proven candidates who could step in.

Loved hearing Jane Fonda and seeing the First Lady together. Well done.

At 76 years of age, I wish I could be sure that Jane (and Donald Sutherland, at the time) appreciated my putting my military career on the line ..when she and Sutherland visited Okinawa to present a concert promoting the anti-Vietnam war movement. ....The time frame was late 60's and Jane wanted me to supply a sound system (along with my drummer, Smiley D.) for their show on Okinawa.....Smiley and I met with Donald and Jane at an Okinawan hotel where they were staying....and she was both beautiful and quite persuading... At that time I was in charge of an entertainment troupe and had been given an executive order by Nixon to fly out to remote islands off 'Nam, with my band, and give them entertainment that (because of their remoteness) never, ever received from the USO or the military.... ..Smiley and I had access to a great and very large PA system....and so, in secrecy ...we borrowed it and set it up for Jane & Donald ...and even opened the show with our band... Unbeknowing to me, there was a videographer filming the whole thing....and Smiley and I almost fainted when we watched the news broadcast on Armed Forces TV....why? Because on the film, the camera panned to the speakers used, and very plainly one could see...."Property of the U.S. Army Special Services, Ryuku Islands, Okinawa..." ...Smiley and I were sure that the military police ...at any moment ..were gonna knock on the door and take us to prison because of our insane, loyal efforts to Jane and Donald.... To this day, I still can feel the fear I felt for helping them out .....but, as it turned out, I received the Air Force Commendation Medal for my musical direction for a show that gave 101 performances in 99 days in the Vietnam theater.....travelling over 28,000 miles by land and air.... ......Both Jane and Donald were wonderful people and gratious with their requests.... The GOP has dug itself into such a deep hole over the last 7-8 years and they just keep digging. My former party is unsavable at this point, and it will take at least a generation to overcome. Quite possibly two generations.

Fonda's words are most profound. The depth of the trump threat to all of us, our way of life and our future is real, no question. The apparent widespread apathy about this threat in general is really concerning.

As the planet heats up there is less crop production and prices will go up.

While there is no doubt that global heating does occur, there also is damn little doubt that this trend has been in existence, on/off, throughout Earth's history..... As well as global cooling.... And now we have a gross increase in erratic weather patterns, including intensification of supercells worldwide. National Geo talkd about this, extensively, in a big article done about 22yrs ago. They stressed, in fact, th tendency of researchers to use global warming as a crutch instead of really examining the more complicated periodicity of th mechanisms responsible for altering the jet stream, initiating seasonal supercell formation et al. Nearly ALL scientists who've even suggested that there's way more to overall global heating than Al Gores bread_n_butter model hav lost their tenure. But hey.. It's a brave new world, and I'm sure Jane and Joe and vice_commander Harris will show us th way.......
