Apurba completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in accounting from Dhaka University. However, he was always interested in the entertainment industry and started his career as a model in 2006.
Apurba is married to actress Sadia Jahan Prova since 2010. The couple has a daughter named Parihaana Faruq Oyshee.
