ciao Diego, grazie mille ! ^_^ Anche io ho una predilezione per il sei-settecento italiano, e non solo italiano :-) Però col passare del tempo mi capita sempre più spesso di imbattermi in alcuni pezzi che davvero mi colpiscono, e Jan Zwart è uno di questi, c'è anche il suo allievo più famoso, Feike Asma che ha scritto molte cose interessanti. Comunque per me Zipoli e Frescobaldi sono tra i preferiti in assoluto ! :-)

Conosco qualcosa di Feike Asma in effetti. Ed ora credo che approfondirò qualcosa sul suo maestro, dopo questo ascolto. Beh... con me sfondi una porta aperta: Frescobaldi e Zipoli sono anche i miei preferiti in assoluto, benché non abbia una conoscenza così approfondita anche di autori stranieri.

Dopo aver esaurito quasi tutto il repertorio di Zipoli finirò col suonare e registrare tutto Frescobaldi, ma con Frescobaldi c'è parecchio da suonare, a parte i Fiori musicali ha scritto parecchia altra roba interessante, invece con Zipoli purtroppo, oltre le Sonate per Intavolatura è difficile reperire altro materiale ^_^

Si verissimo! Tanta tanta roba buona per frescobaldi oltre i fiori musicali (tutte le toccate ad esempio). Peccato per zipoli, che adoro. Soprattutto la struttura dei quattro versi in preparazione alla toccata. Magari si riuscisse a ritrovare qualcosa scritto da lui, da poter assaporare e gustare.

Another which I keep meaning to learn, but haven't yet. Wonderful articulation and tempo. Good registration too, although I wish there was more pedal in some places, and perhaps another reed in the manuals in the louder parts. I'm just being picky though. Good performance.

Although I found this piece quite repetitive, I am VERY impressed by your performance and your installation... If I were an organist I would dream of that in my house !

Today I installed haupwerk on my PC to evaluate if it work for only one Tyros 5 keyboard to expenad "Organworld". Hear the results on my website: wf.mellink.info/cache/mod_nmap/pmapp_3616274777.html?cb=1456612216 When I plan to add a MIDI keyboard to it, how do I connect it. Currently I plan to connect the keyboard to PC via USB-MIDI interface. Do I need another for the second keyboard ?

Caro Luca, ti seguo sin dalle tue prime apparizioni, tutte bellissime ma con questa Toccata hai raggiunto il culmine della musicalità organistica che credevo impossibile arrivarci, Come hai fatto? Dirti bravo non ha alcun senso... celestiale... divino... immenso, non lo so fai tu. Intanto mi sono scaricato questo video e sappi che lo ascolterò e ti vedrò per molte moltissime volte. GRAZIE.

Grazie !!! ^_^ Gentilissimo. La passione è tanta, ho "scoperto" da non molto questi autori olandesi, tra cui appunto Jan Zwart ma anche altri (esempio Feike Asma), mi piacciono moltissimo. Quando ho sentito questa toccata sul salmo 146 me ne sono innamorato subito, non è stato semplicissimo studiarla, anche attualmente sto continuando ad elaborarla anche perché non mi dispiacerebbe un giorno registrarla su qualche grande organo olandese ! Comunque la voglia di migliorarmi è tanta anche perché ci sono tanti magnifici pezzi che vorrei suonare, ma ci arriverò con la giusta gradualità ! :-)

Do you happen to know the model number of those touchscreens? I like how they are nice and flat and round, Other touchscreens are big bulky and crappy looking, and are definitely can not be integrated into a surface like this,

I like the organ that your playing. Are the Knobs are in those 2 screens? How Does it work? Anyways I like the organ that your playing. Just because of those screens.

Paweł Piorko This is a digital direct recording, an option on Hauptwerk menu. Surely no amplifiers nor speakers involved.

Question: is this a digital sample of the original organ? It looks like he's playing at home. If yes: what brand is this organ?

Ciao Enrico, in un modo o nell'altro ti accontenterei volentieri, ma da una parte non ho più il nastro originale con le varie angolazioni di questa registrazione, e dall'altro l'ho registrata alcuni mesi fa quindi di fatto la dovrei proprio ristudiare da capo eheheh :-P

Hallo, ik ben droevig maar ik weet niet de Nederlandse taal waarvoor u in het Engels antwoorden ;-) The Batz organ has three keyboards, the instrument that you see in this video is actually a console Schwindler built for the hauptwerk system, sample set of the organ in the Cathedral of Utrecht, Batz organ ^_^

Lucca check the left hand notations...they are not Staccato notes but eighth notes , the right hand carries enough energy in all the repetitive 16th notes... This is a grand piece and should be payed in the grand style...do not make pecking at the notes.... It should be a solid piece ...listen to Old man Zwart playing this pice it is available on 33 1/3 recording... just a friendly professional comment...I know you put lots of work into the pice...Earle
