Fantastic interview! We are soooooo fortunate at Iowa to have coaches like Jan! The consummate cheerleader for everyone and most incredibly inspiring role model!

Jan you are an awesome coach for teaching those young ladies to be great players on the court but better people off the court.

That was an excellent interview. I'm hoping our ladies can take care of Ohio State today, it's the last regular season game, and that would sure feel good.

Coach Jensen speaks of watching kids chase their dreams, while I watch her chase hers as a coach.

Coach Jan is right on point. If someone had told me ten years ago that I would be able to name all the players on the Iowa women’s BB team by sight, I would have called them crazy. But now both me and my wife can do it, as well. Love what Iowa Women’s BB has become. Not just Caitlin, but the whole bundle. Great work coaches, players, administrators, fans, and support staff.

How much of this great time for women’s basketball for Iowa will carry over after this year?

It’s not about Caitlin Clark being awesome at basketball, it’s about how she’s so entertaining while making history.

The currency of Catenomics is an avalanche of spending not just at home games. Think about the merch and local bars, eateries, and hotels that benefit when Iowa WBB comes to town. Now that she is determined to enter the WNBA draft will that benefit follow?

Do you think the Fever will draft Kate Martin as well to keep Caitlin happy?

I would imagine Kate will be an assistant coach at a D1 school for a couple years before returning as an assistant to Iowa. She is part of the fabric of this program (since before she played on that court). She will be a part of Iowa basketball in the future.

Good listen…love watching the Hawkeye girls and all they’ve done. One request tho: please teach our undersized bigs (Hannah) to use the head fake underneath. There many times I’ve watched games where they are giving up some size and countless times getting the ball shoved down their throats due to the size they’re up against. A head fake here or there will get their bigs off their feet and give us a trio to the foul line or a plus one attempt. I have not seen a head fake AT ALL and there is a need to bring it in when you are undersized.

The bigs are Iowa's Achilles heel going into the tournaments.

Ball fakes, pump fakes, head fakes they need to utilize all down low on the block. Get the defender off their feet and draw fouls!

It’s crazy to think she hasn’t wanted to be a head coach because she has had to have many opportunities
