Thanks for this quick upload. Was following the live ticker then saw 97.5 and I was like uhhhhh. Then saw the announcement of technical problems in the inrun. Scary situation What even caused that?

I think it's water in the inrun due to the warmth of the sun.

Robert "Orzeł" Mateja jako pierwszy Polak przeskoczył 200 m, więc takim niedojdą to jednak nie był, jak wielu chciałoby sądzić. Nie mówiąc o 5 miejscu na MŚ w narc. klasycznym i kilku miejscach w 10-tce w zawodach PŚ.

Phew. I saw this on the live ticker and when the break came, I feared a crash :c unbelievable that he would have still made a normal jump if he didn't lose his speed lol

Thats not a normal jump from Planica. He just flew like that cause of his own safety.

There was wet snow on the inrun and his skis probably slowed down. Lucky that nothing happened.

Something simillar happened to ulrich wolgenant (sorry if I pronounced his surname wrong) on the same day, but I think it was the wind and nothing on the inrun.

​@@xocomaox If the first reply is correct, he gained speed and then passed over a spot where the snow was melting a little. Melted snow is not as slippery as solid pressed snow. It's like hitting a puddle while driving. The effect is similar to touching the brake pedal by mistake.

Zatrzymało go, w Planicy tory są naturalne, przez co podatne na słońce. Temperatura mocno na plusie i to słońce spowodowały, że się topią.
