There’s a moment where joe is sucking off izzy so much that he’s like “and see just like that he popped him” and it was a jab that Jan beautifully slipped where the jab hit nothing but air and Jan jabbed back and landed but nothing on the commentary everyone in my living room started laughing cuz of how ridiculous the commentary was lol

So accurate and they do that shit all the time. I kept wondering what fight they were watching. "Izzy is out striking him so bad" looked at the stats Jan's up 10 strikes with 72% head vs 42% leg 2nd round I think. Rogan and DC are why people are robbed. You hear someone is losing all fight and all of the sudden win judge scorecard. Thought the same thing with Jon's last few fights until I rewatched it without the ass kissing.

Roagan did the same thing the Khabib vs. Al Laquinta fight. Khabib was dominating the fight on the feet and Joe was talking shit about his striking. The funniest moment of the fight was when they brought out the striking stats and it shows Khabib out landing him 10 to 1. And Joe still stuck to his guns lmao.

Idk if it's about him being bad. It's tough to grapple with someone when they're 25 pounds heavier. Jones is definitely out of the picture until he gains some weight. I still don't think there are any middleweights that could hold him down like that. Jan was smart with his grappling for sure though, didn't allow for a lot of movement or scrambles so that Izzy could get up. He realized what happened after the first takedown, Izzy was able to win the scramble and get up so he played it a lot safer with the 2nd and 3rd takedowns. I just don't believe that was a fair/good representation of Izzys ground game.

If you haven't been continuing your wrestling training, it kind of falls off. At this point in his career, it seems like he may just be training striking for the most part
