Today we are out to explore the street food scene in the city of Jamshedpur also referred to as The Steel City Of India, with our host Chirag Parmar who is a PR professional and a young food enthusiast.
Our first stop was Gopal Dosa where we relished a toothsome cheese, onion butter dosa. The best part of this dish was the aloo masala.
The second stop of this tour was Tinkoniya Hotel. It is an old sweet shop that is named so because of its triangular structure. Here we tried their hot selling samosa, kalakand and tea.
The third stop was Bhatia sweets. We had come to try their jalebi but it was too sweet for our palate. The shop is a local favourite because of the huge range of namkeens.
The fourth stop was Manohar chaat. The owner is a huge fan of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit hence the place is adorned with her photos. The papdi chaat was indeed as vivacious as the vibe of the place.
The fifth destination was Lakhi Egg. Their classic egg roll was quite decent. But what attracted our attention was the huge eclectic menu.
The sixth stop was Goli Soda Shop where we tried orange soda. This fizzy flavoured drink gives instant refreshment hence we all love it.
The seventh stop was Gauri Shankar Cabin whose samosas are hugely popular. They are small sized, nicely flavoured with panch phoran and ghee. Here we also tried the Dood Puli sweet.
The eight stop was Bhola Maharaj Sweet shop which is a huge and old establishment. Here we tried their motichoor ke LADOO and it was quite luscious.
The ninth stop was Nabajiban Kulfi. Their kulfi is special because they freeze it in the traditional manner that is manually. The badam pista and kesar kulfi was creamy and gratifying.
The ninth stop was Shiv Sambhu GolGappa. This is our host's favourite place as he loves golgappa. We found it to be really irresistible.
The last stop of this gluttonous tour was Sahu Jee Hotel whose mutton chawal combo is super famous. The mutton curry here was rich, spicy yet home styled.

I have lived in all four parts of India..but I can bet that the golgappas in jamshedpur are the best n fantastic in india..you will never get the same taste in anywhere else in india

💯💯 same here. I have eaten golgappa/panipuri in Delhi, Agra(North India), Kolkata, Guwahati (East India), Bangalore, Davangere, Ooty, Goa(South India), Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota(West India) but none come close to the ones we have in Jamshedpur and no one can change my mind about it. Whenever I eat the golgappas in other cities, they are first of all over priced and then the taste is way inferior to the ones we have in Jamshedpur.

I liked the Gopal Dosa Owner who said, " Whatever may be the price of tomato and onion, I will keep using them to satisfy my customer". That really deserves a salute to such noble service. 🙏

Like From Jamshedpur In Jamshedpur you can see every religion and every States people , from north eastern to Tamil make Jamshedpur in such a way that every day you can see a festival . In a single word Jamshedpur or Tatanagar is a mini India , so u can eat entire subcontinent food. And the our hospitality , I think you never get from any corner of the world. From street vendors to high class hotels not only provide free food but also say " fir ayeaga ".

ये हुई ना बात. आजका एपिसोड देखकर लगा की अनुभवजी वाला फ्लेवर वापिस आ गया. झारखंड की व्यंजनोकि विविधता देखकर बहुत अच्छा लगा. भिन्न भिन्न प्रांतसे लोगोने यहा आकार अपने हुनरसे एवं लगनसे खानेवालोकी सेवा की है. इन सभी लोगोंके स्वभाव कितने साफ और नेक है. भाषा तो जैसे शहदमे लबालब जो एक अच्छे विक्रेता की पहचान है. ऐसेही मेहनती लोग खानेमे प्यार मिलाकर व्यंजनोको जायकेदार और उमदा बना देते है. आनेवाले एपिसोड ऐसेही लौगौसे मिलनेमे काफी मजा आयेगा.

Hi Sir, Glad you are covering our city. Just started watching the video and the one thing that struck me is the story of the Gopal Dosa owner. The original Gopal Dosa was started by a South Indian (Tamil) who sold of his business to the current owner before retiring.

I stayed in Jamshedpur for 2 months and it was the best food experience i could've asked for. The street food and chaat is on another level and I've lived all over the country

Wow, very nice sir. This is my hometown. My family still now living there. I am staying at Hyderabad now and I am working here. But when I saw you eating golgappa near Baradwadi Flat, where my family had stayed in Baradwadi flat last 9 years, then I feel nostalgia.

Mission accomplished. A jampacked episode, for which Anubhav is known for! Hail the Dosa, though an import made its way into the hearts of Jamshedpuris. The timeless love story of the shopkeeper (with Madhuri) deserves a thousand hugs! This guy has set himself a standard for love far and beyond. I sadly note that the Motton got the short end of the episode.

Jamshedpur's Novelty restaurant's 'Mixed Pan Fried Noodles' is the best 😋
23:32. I'm proud to say that I've seen this place my whole life and the standard of kulfi here is unbeatable. The texture of kulfi is soft and it dissolves completely in your mouth. Additionally, the temperature is just right for immediate consumption; you get the flavour of kesar and pista while not freezing your teeth. I can say that the kulfi here is at a level beyond international ice-creams. PS: I also saw a person who had come to nabjiban kulfi all the way from Patna with his whole family to eat kulfi
That's true. Jamshedpur should be a nice place to live. I enjoyed the city in the movie udaan. It also has good students and they actually speak the best English out of bihar.n jharkhand
