Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir
On the 11th day of our Amritsar, Kashmir & Jammu Tour we packed our bags because this was the time to say goodbye to Kashmir. Today we are traveling to Jammu from Pahalgam for a one night stay and sightseeing. We had our breakfast at our hotel and then started our return journey. Our bus ran non stop until it was time for lunch after crossing Ramban. We reached Jammu in the evening and checked into our hotel. After some snacks we headed outside for a walk. We had some street food and explored the area. The next day we woke up early, had breakfast at hotel and then went to visit the Amar Mahal Palace. The Palace houses a library and museum. We spent our entire morning touring this place and then went back to our hotel. We already had packed our bags because we had a train to catch in the afternoon. After a quick lunch we headed to the Jammu Tawi Railway station and boarded the Vande Bharat Express. We had to go Ambala to catch our train for Asansol and for the the Vande Bharat was the fastest and reliable option. The train reached Ambala before its scheduled time and then we had to wait for about 3 hours for the Amritsar Howrah Mail. Finally we boarded our train which arrived on right time. We spent the night and the next day sleeping and chilling on the train after a hectic schedule of the Amritsar, Kashmir and Jammu tour. At last we reached Asansol on the 13th day.
