autotune can be used very subtle, too. there are ways to autotune it to a certain level and still let it sound like it´s unprocessed. besides of that there is definetly a certain processing like reverb and chorus-effect or something to make the voice richer. no shame, bc its the style of the music.

@@michaelshepherd885 For big live shows they often have some type of live pitch correction to the live vocals, if that's what you're asking. It's been the norm in the industry for the last few years. Pitch correction is _not_ autotune... however, when most people say "autotune," they _mean_ pitch correction. With a live band, if you're a little off-pitch here and there, that's just being 'in the groove.' But if you're singing over a suite of digital instruments, any little mistake or deviation will stick out big time. Singers have to perform to a higher standard, if they're singing over synth. The real-time pitch correction is just helping to put on a good show. Jamiroquai rules, he puts on a great show.

totally ok with you !! What violence from this public that is supposed to adore what it burns. You have to be strong in this business, between the barking packs and the record companies that manipulate artists like products. Everyone forgets the work, the creative genius that must be produced. Great respect for this artist who has given so much and gives us so much, definitely

Then someone gave me a burned cd of that album.(this was like in 98 when a burned cd was still not very common)And after hearing cosmic girl, use the force, traveling without moving and I was hooked ! But Gained 100x more respect for them after seeing a concert of them on tv and was blown away to find out that all of those funky 70s disco guitar, drums and bass lines were all actual people and not synthesizers!! And this concert was awesome!! They are only one of a few bands that ive seen that sound as good and on point live as they do in a studio!!

42:18 / 2:07:21 Jamiroquai are one of my all time favourite bands. I have to say that they seem to be even better now as a complete jazz rock unit than when I saw them live in Australia in 2005. It doesn't matter that Jason can't skate around like he used to, he is a true musician that needs no gimmicks. The music he created is ageless and will get churned around on the top of music playlists for the next 100 years or more.
