Alexa Nikolas (Nicole) left Zoey 101 halfway through its four-season run after some uncomfortable experiences on set. In 2005, some media outlets reported that Britney Spears, older sister of series star Jamie Lynn Spears, came on set and screamed at Nikolas over alleged conflicts and fights with her sister, and also threatened to end her acting career. Nikolas confirmed this incident years later, but claimed that there were no "fights" with Jamie, but that "my best friend on the show didn't want to be my best friend in real life". Nikolas claimed that Jamie was not interested in socializing with her off-camera. However, Jamie got along very well with castmate Kristin Hererra. This resulted in the rest of the cast forming a clique with Nikolas being socially excluded. While filming a scene on a beach, Herrera allegedly assaulted and verbally abused Nikolas (Herrera denied this, however). Nikolas' mother would try to get the show's staff to intervene and stop the bullying, but they instead told her that her then-12-year-old daughter needed to "grow up" and to "be professional". Some roles were just meant for certain actors. Nicole was Alexa in real life. Jamie’s character could’ve been easily replaced since she’s a horrible actress and only landed that role because her sister is Britney Spears. Dude, Alexa was the heart of the damn show!!!

I just find it funny that no one even responded to what Alexa said about being bullied. I'm the kind of person who always says there are two sides to every story, but the way no one owned up to their side just leads me to believe Alexa all the way. Yes, everyone was younger, but that's why it would have been perfect to own up to what happened all those years ago. They should have all matured enough to admit they were wrong when they were younger. This kind of sours any reboot for me. Don't want to reward/support a cast that can't even come clean about totally redeemable things that happened in their childhood.

I'm always up for hearing both sides of the story but does anybody notice that despite doing multiple interviews with the rest of the cast, not ONE interviewer brings up the whole Alexa Nikolas story? (Probably because Jamie Lynn Spears has it on her list of stuff to not talk about.) I mean that would be one HELL of a story and as a journalist, I would definitely ask for their part of the story. That really makes me believe that there is a lot of truth to it ...

There is obviously a potential bridge between why two certain cast members are missing from the reboot and if it has anything to do with her allegations. Just ask "Were Alexa and Victoria contacted to join the reboot?" and you can go from there to Alexas Instagram video. I mean as you can see Alexas video is really making its rounds on the internet. Behind the scenes drama was always something that the media loves to expose and is connected to the reputation of a tv show. Just look at Ellen DeGeneres' Show after numerous reveals about how Ellen treated her staff. Or the feud between Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano when they did Charmed. You can't tell me that there aren't a bunch of journalists who would like to expose a potential drama on one of the biggest Nickelodeon shows during the mid-2000s. I mean it's pretty much one of the core definitions of journalism to uncover grievances in our society.

I think Jamie might've extended a sort of olive branch (don't think the rest of the cast did). Jamie and Alexa follow each other on instagram, and an ig story from 6 weeks ago shows that she sent baby clothes to Alexa for her newborn. I hope there was some conversation between the two to address whatever their issue was back then, now (granted, it was after the first reunion and Alexa's videos following that so the attention reached Jamie, etc.).

Honestly so disappointing finding out that all these people are acting like everyone got along on the show, when they all bullied Alexa. PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY harassed her, and didn’t include her in anything. Being bullied as a kid makes me disgusted that I idolized these people. No wonder why Dan Schneider hasn’t had a hit TV show in years. Even the adults couldn’t act their age. Glad I found this out so I don’t support a group of awful people who only care about themselves. I’ll leave this show where it needs to be, IN THE PAST!!!!

Yeah, I’d respect them more (especially the girls) if they apologized sincerely to Alexa for the way they treated her. They’re adults now and should understand that their behavior (even if they were “just teens”) wasn’t ok and that they caused an innocent child to be traumatized.

@ wendymacias12 Lol anyone would have to be naive to believe that big Tv network with Nickelodeon and Disney actually care about them. All they do is USE kids and teens for money and ratings. Teens are being taken advantage of and networks won’t hesitate to dump them at their weakest moments or when they next best thing comes along. Nickelodeon may be a fun network to watch! I grew up with it myself. The shows I used to watch will always have a special place in my heart. But I’ve completely lost respect for the producers and employees who run it.

I always liked Dana. She was a tomboy, she was good at basketball, and she loved to sleep lol. I was a fan since the first episode. Dana added some versatility to the show without shoving it down our throats. She was also in 13 episodes, not 5 or even 5 mins (as some like to exaggerate). I was bummed out when they cut her character loose. Kristina looked older apparently. She’s technically part of the OG cast because she was in the first season...you know, the season that started our interest in the show in the first place? Give her some slack. Just because some don’t remember and are ignorant about how many episodes she’s in, doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve to be part of it. And yes I’m gonna go there, she’s a female and Latina. Writers had nothing for her. Chris is a minority too, but he’s also a male so he got a pass. I love the show and the whole cast. They were ALL fortunate to have any sort of involvement in the show. Just make it available on Netflix 🥺

If I was Alexa, I wouldn’t want anything to do with Zoey 101 ever again…..even if I was invited. And even if they apologize, it would be due to publicity and getting exposed…..not because they genuinely feel bad.

I saw Nicole's interview, the only one who treated her well was the actor of Chase. The others were complicit in bullying Nicole

The rest of the cast are super cowards and weak minded. They bent over to kiss Jamie's buttcrack just cause they were scared of her. That's the only reason they joined in and bullied Alexa. They didn't have the guts to think for themselves and stand up to Jamie. Whenever Jamie said "jump" the other cast members literally said, "How high".

They all should do a reality TV show together. That would be amazing.

To the people wondering where Victoria Justice is, she was i think at this time was preparing for her upcoming movie "Afterlife of the Party" which was filmed in South Africa.

Funny how the main ones who bullied Alexa (Jamie, Kristen, Britney S, and Victoria) ALL got their punishment in the end. Hilarious how life works 🤣 Jamie’s show got cancelled, Kristen got kicked off after the first season, Britney S…. yeah lotssss of stuff til this day, and Victoria was supposedly the one excluded in her own show Victorious. Never feel the need to seek revenge when people treat you poorly, life will always make sure give it to them.
