Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn are my biggest inspirations in life. They are everything i aspire to be.

I had a dream once that Jamie and I were sitting on a dirty curb/sewer with wet leaves and soggy cigarette butts under our shoes, drinking beers and chilling and just talking.. he's one of my heroes.

He's such a great inspiration to me. I know I'm absolute shit at art, but he inspires me to still keep at it. He's just such a wonderfully colorful soul. ...and he's insanely handsome.

Me too... I don't even have the patience and discipline I need to improve, but when I look at Jamie's art it just makes me want to draw.

As artist we are never satisfied with our work we just do our best and then move on to do better and better each time

I respect you man. I draw with pen and pencil as a hobby. Nothing too complicated really. I wish I could animate and draw on a computer but its just nothing like tangible drawing. You're an inspiration and I hope that even as a hobbyist I can get better with my technique as there's nothing quite like rekindling the imagination you struggle to hold onto through youth and creating beautiful imagery. I'm being pretentious but that really is what drawing - even with a little doodle - is to me. Now if only I could figure out colors. And shading. Very much a beginner

Brilliant man. Also very handsome.

Such an amazing man. Jamie is so talented, he’s so funny and yet so deep. He holds so much knowledge, & has such a gorgeous way of expressing feelings, sadness, happiness. Like he said at the end, along these lines, that he’s not content and maybe he never will be, but that’s what makes you grow. My dad always loves my art and says how i’m my biggest critic, but maybe that’s a good thing, that i’m striving for perfection. Maybe there is no “perfection.” Maybe it’s different for everyone. Everyone has their own perspective of “perfection” which doesn’t make it perfect. Having opinions, thoughts and being different, not trying to fit in with everyone. Having a perception of “perfect” makes you, you.
