Icbeeable - The thing is, that unlike some more over-the-top actors (*coughnicholascagecough*), Benicio can convey a LOT with incredibly little. Watching him go in Sicario was both an incredible and riveting experience. His performance is raw and purposefully constrained, but so deep and genuine at the same time that you truly feel like you're watching a real person instead of just a character. It's all in the gaze and countenance.

he was so good in Sicario, says like 5 lines through the whole movie yet portrays such an intense character!

I'm addicted to this show. It's just laid back and honest. I think it just needs to be advertised more.

No one ever mentions, “Things We Lost in the Fire”. I think his performance in that movie was stellar.

Amen. The most underrated performance of the 2000´s. That he didnt get a single nomination from anyone in the world is a disgrace....the film is very good but only has 65% at rotten tomatoes and men do not get recognition,their performances are sadly seldom seperated from the movie as a whole while Streep won an Oscar for a movie most people despised.

Del Toro is something else. Brilliant actor. Love his role in Sicario. He's so ruthless it's hilarious. Loved how he was rolling in the sand in Sicario Soldado.

Benicio Del Toro and Gary Oldman are my two favorite actors. Both bring such power character to their roles. Bravo

I'm not the type to crush on actors at all.. but he's probably the only one I'd hit and never quit. There's something about him.

One role that Benicio took on that a lot of folks probably don't remember or ever talk about is his role in The Fan remake with Wesley Snipes and Robert De Niro. He was good in that as well.

It's amazing how good Del Toro is in an instant with that Dracula reading...

You can just tell by their eye contact and body language this was a very productive interview. Two laid back guys that struggled to the top. Very fascinating story from both. Del Toro subtlety praises Foxx on many occasions which Foxx felt deeply. Great job!

I know it's not one of his best known roles but, he was so great in Che. A very quiet and subtle performance but so real.

What i like in the interview, how Jamie reacts all the time when Benicio says something like : yeahh , yahh, uuh , woow , funny as hell and i have to say it probably Jamie is a good liar , in a ' good way ' :)) , and definitely it's a good actor. Benicio one of the best actors of course, I'm waiting for sicario 2 , the first movies was speechless, i hope the second it's the same. Keep up the good work Jamie

Very few actors can just stand, not say a word for 5 full minutes, and trust me, you'll shake in your pants, and/or possibly give a standing ovation. This guy is one of of such actors. Few words, but powerful cinematic delivery
