After seeing the Fall And Then Fifty Shades He’s the real deal. Quite the actor! Thankyou Jamie.

Very good interview with Jamie Dornan. So down-to-earth during entire interview: Comfortable and Relaxed. At ease, happy, smiling. Such a gentle soul.

After watching the movies several times and listening to his interviews I can understand why sometimes it is hard to keep talking about these movies. He is such a sweetheart and loving husband and dad. Oh the voice!?!!

Ur right. Also I have noticed that when he is doing an interview with Dakota or even by himself and he talks about Dakota he covers his wedding ring and has a smile

Ya it's probably cause of all the traveling they've been doing to promote. I'd be pretty dam tired too😐 W this installment w the fact that the charachter of Christian is able to change is the fact that he's got a loving environment. This is the reason why he's very conflicted on what he deserves. This is what makes it so interesting to see these 2 charachters come alive and see them on screen.

Thank goodness he does not come across as a very slick actor. It must be really intimidating to be the center of attention all the time. He comes across as such a good dad.

Seems like he gets fed up repeating himself in interviews.Must be very repetitive for him just being asked same questions all the time. In his head he's probaly thinking 'oh god, not this question again' but has to answer it. I'm starting to see him more for him rather than just a sex symbal. He's more than that.

@@54mumz watch him on The Fall. OMG after watching all the 50 Shades movies first and then watching this (The Fall) I my jaw just dropped open. Wow Jamie was really excellent and believable playing this roll. Its a TV series now on NetFlex. Yikes...... really recommend it for Jamie Dornan fans.

Thank you for saying that. He also was nominated for an Emmy in 2017 for 'The Fall" but didn't win. He said he would have like to have won but just being nominated was also good to him. He did get Best Actor Award for "The Fall" in his country Ireland. He was also nominated in London for a Bafta for Best Actor for "The Fall" but didn't win.

I'm really trying to figure out what it is about this franchise/character that he doesn't like. It seems like he did it more for the money. He's said in multiple interviews that he wouldn't get along with Christian, that he's glad playing this character is behind him. But I know with The Fall he's said he would do 40 seasons of Paul if he could. I understand every job, he probably connects with characters different. But Christian is the only one I've heard him say often that he doesn't seem near as passionate about it. Maybe it's the switching of directors, the big frenzy over them, or what. I feel like he lends to the character what was needed for the movie translation, but he doesn't seem to.

In my opinion, he probably dislikes these because the writing and directing are crap. These movies do not allow him to actually showcase himself as an actor, whereas The Fall did the exact opposite. He was BRILLIANT in The Fall. But these movies are going to be seen by so many more people, and I'm afraid he won't get noticed in the correct way. He has said, in multiple interviews, that he is not at the point in his career where he gets a lot of choice in the roles that are offered to him. If he gets stuck as Christian Grey, that will be horrible for his career.

Stephanie, I totally agree. Those movies and books are awful and Jamie knows it. He was heavily criticized for his acting, but I think not even Oscar winners could save them. It's clear that he did it for the money and recognition, to put himself out there for the general public, which is a clever move. I just wish he'd had the opportunity to do this in a less shitty blockbuster movie...

I don't like his beard that long either. He looks so much more handsome when it's alot shorter. But I don't like it when he's clean shaven either. Trimed beard looks better on him.

there was a certain awkwardness in this interview. I don't know why or who it came from between these two but something made me feel uncomfortable here...😕

Jamie does havetrouble with and reviews like this is hard for him to sit still because I read on one of his fan pages that he has abnormally high adrenaline levels and it's hard for him to sit still to do anything he always has to be moving and I think I read somewhere that he also has some issues with anxiety

I think he's just tired of hearing about Christian grey because the movies are over and done with he's trying to move on and he's tired of people trying to couple him up with Dakota Johnson the man is happily married so I would be tired of hearing about fifty shades of grey 2
