JAMESTOWN MECHANIC SERVICE CART TOUR FULL LENGTH!!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
So I have finally brought most everything from home and the stuff I use on a day to day and placed it in either my Jamestown Service Cart or Harbor Freight 56" Tool Chest. This video is what I am comfortably working of on a day to day. I also picked up a couple of New Craftsman Items that I have added to the mix!

Thanks for sharing in this video. I appreciate that you are not a Snap-On junkie, no pun intended. You buy what works and holds up whether it is a China or US product, or a major or generic brand. Makes your videos more useful at least to me as they are more realistic.

I have Snap-on, Matco, MAC, Grey Pneumatic, Gearwrench, Craftsman and Harbor Freight tools in my toolbox. I use whatever works, don’t care who makes it or where it is made!
Hi Justin we like work the workplace and we love tools, thanking you for taking these two guys along for the tool box tours. Lance & Patrick.
Super organized! Love it. Thanks
Thanks for the tour justin!!! I love comfort grip ratchets , i guess I'm just use too it . Beautiful beautiful box and love the color.
Refreshing to see some real tool usage just what you need and nothing more just to fill in box space.
Thankyou for sharing - I HAVE OFTEN FELT GUILTY about special application tools. Its nice to see someone else that likes to be prepared for special jobs. You help me feel justified and prepared. Just Sayin! Thanks again for your tool box videos. You Rock!!!

Thanks brotherman. I appreciate your kind words. Gotta have some specialty stuff. Makes life as a mechanic easier. Cheers!
I have a true craft socket set that is literally 45 years old my grandmother got me as a birthday present, still works great ….
I watched both this and your Box video. Excellent tours. One of the best parts imo is that you have a bunch of tools from different makes and models.
I got that same matco socket tray and those magnets on the side work wonders for extra space to put extra odds & ends to use every day.
Thank you for your service my friend.
Nice set up Justin, that green finish is killer
Awesome box and tool's brother love your video's
Looks nice. Finally got my Dow fix for the day. Been missing those videos.
*I like when a mechanic knows exactly what he will most likely encounter during the day. You look in their cart and, all you see is what they need. Not a lot of extra shit packed in there. It shows the level of experience.*
I have the jsc770 matco service cart. Love it. Have had it for 4 years or so.
Love your content Justin! Got super excited when these box tour videos popped up on my phone lol. You have a nice collection of tools. Cheers 🤙🏼

Thanks Brotherman! Much Appreciated! I can't wait to see what the future brings us. I'm in the process of selling my Cornwell Pro Series and thinking of getting a Harbor Freight 72" with end cabinet and locker for the house! Still going to have money in pocket. lol Cheers!
keep doing what you do , i enjoy watching your stuff i found myself in Horror Freight and picked up some doyal tools you recommended and they were just as good as the truck
Great color choice👍🔧🍺🍺🍺
That’s a nice roll cart! A lot of nice tools too.
The cart is looking awesome man. Great variety of tools/ brands represented!

Nice tour and no passport required
Definitely a great set up! Kinda jealous lol. Keeping rocking it brother!
As a mechanic I can think of just 1 use for a ball pein hammer it's for making gaskets using gasket paper. Saying that I have 4 ball pein hammers

I agree . I'm a machinist and have a few myself. 6 . 12 oz to 2 1/2 pounds ball peen. But I love my estwing 24 oz ball peen
Great Video
The color of that box is sweet!
Use the ball pein hameer to knock out a pinion out of a rear without damaging the bearing.

Best videomaster ever!
Hey I just started collecting tools last year for work and for the house. You can find really great deals on USA craftsman tools at estate sales if your lucky!
This is a bad ass cart.
Color is solid on the box.
So much fUn to listening to you,… great cart,,. Bring that craftsman to a new level,..
Throw some heat shrink on those universal joints. Still get some flex, but no limpy limp. Thanks for the tour.

Matco makes the universal wobbles with a spring in it to hold it stiff
Very nicely done Justin !!! I admit that probably 50 or 60% of the tools u r talking about, i have NO Clue where or how they work. LOL@me I like how you run your videos Thanks for sharing your HONESTY and thoughts about all the tools and how to do various other things. Who knows I might accidentally learn something😁😍😀. btw I stopped by our HF on the way home from church and DEAL of my lifetime. 21 degree Banks Framing Nailer normally $99 open box $64 talking to a manager, I asked if he could do better than the 50% he said he would do 75%. That's off the 64 not 99. We're talking about $16+ tax for a Framing Nailer !!! The nails are going to be $19 + tax lol😎😎😍😀 I know it's not automotive but I had to share. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos, Rodney

Nice setup. Kind of surprised you didnt have any air hammers in there.
Good video most of my craftman is pre china. The older cractsman professional look similar to mac. Now i am kobalt and texton could go back to craftsman.
Hey on that Lock-A-Socket tray you can remove the 1/2 & just add another 3/8 row. Just order more pegs

Good video. I like the cut of your gib. I like the fact that your box is realistic, not just loaded with as much shit as you can fit in it.
I have a metwrench set and it's original case from mid 90's.
Can I have a guess at what that shaved T30 is for? Is it removing the timing chain guide on the 3.6 without stripping the bolt?
1st hell yeah brother nice cart
My question is about the long reach needle nose pliers I just ordered some knpiexs versions how useful have they been for you?
Ball peen work great for making gaskets. Working out of a service truck working on every make and model of equipment and big truck you cant possibly keep every gasket you can use but you can keep gasket material and a ball peen hammer.
This cart looks bad ass, I have krsc46 snap on cart and I’ve been thinking of trading it in for the one you own
Did you have to open up the holes near the ends to get the pry bars to fit I bought that cart today and my pry bars only fit in the middle
Great tour , Justin you need some new Snap-on comfort grip handles As they look pretty worn/oil swollen
@JustinDowDIYcentralhighway

lol you probably right about that. lol that's the daily grind for ya. lol
sweet!
I thought the magnetic socket rails would be great. However I work in a welding shop. Those were covered in iron dust fuzz in no time.
just an fyi the snap on flex head "too loose" issue is internal to the pin and its not a tightness thing, theres a small friction ring in there that wear out fairly fast. tell your snap on dealer and youll get the ring and a new pin to boot.
Can you do a review on the HBF swivel sockets? A lot of people talk smack saying the spring clamp style fall apart, compared to the press style like snap on or Matco
@bertmollar

I use the same exact ones he has in the video. Ive put them on impacts and cranked the living shit out of them with no problems AT ALL. The only tools I've gotten from Harbor Freight that have been absolute trash are the vice grips. They strip out and the teeth dont grip. Aside from that I've liked everything I got from there. The impact guns arent the best. I had to exchange an Earthquake because the trigger and direction switch kept siezing up.
Hard to beat that green color
Hey Justin are those 1/2” HarborFreight swivel impact sockets Pittsburg or Icon ?
The snap on u joint is better compared to others.

@Jack Daniels I have both sunex deep and snap on shallow impact swivel sockets. Both are good quality but a lot of difference in price. Most of my Snap on tools were purchased when I was younger. Nowadays If i need to purchase a tool i usually buy from Amazon. I agree that Snap on tools are way to expensive.
if your milwaukee 1/2 inch is less than 5yrs old send it in for repair. if they can t fix it or they are just too lazy they will send you a new one and the warranty will also start over due to the new serial number. their warranty is really good though, pretty much no questions asked.
ICM nice!
The best type of hammer for automotive is a cross-pein. Look it up sometime. Like a ball-pein, but way betterer...
@stv-gq4vi

The main functions of a cross peen hammer is forging and riveting. Not sure how this would be more useful for auto technician than a dead blow ball peen.
I saw your old tool cart matco Monday truck day

I have the same thing as the hyper tough small sledge type hammer I have a estwig made in USA engineering chip hammer.
Nice✔️
Maybe you could get some of those slipping ratchets warrantied and you'd have backups so you don't have to buy another when the next one slips.
Can we get an updated version of how it is now?
👍
Very nice tool cart I would work out of it and be happy this might sound crazy but how did it get the name Jamestown if you know please enlighten me

12 inch long 3/8 ratchet is my choice anytime
Can you tell me the color of your box what kind of green it is
Go all Craftsman
Where did you get the green socket tray? No links or affiliate links in the comments section about the video where the creators post their information. Picked up a MTS socket tray that you twist the socket and turn and it locks in place. Didn't like the $150 Snap-On one due to the price. For $150 they should give you a whole top drawers worth of those trays for that amount..
@JustinDowDIYcentralhighway
4 жыл бұрын
The Green tray came from MATCO and Ya I dropped the $150 he wanted.
Excuse my ignorance, where can I buy a matco box?
@JustinDowDIYcentralhighway

You can buy one used off Craiglist, Used off Let Go, Used off Facebook market place, or New from a MATCO Tool Distributor. Cheers!
Whoooa n ice box
My issue with the Pittsburgh ratchets is every one I had no matter what I do the bolt that holds the head to the handle always comes loose always is way too flimsy

Hey man you should check out capri wrenches they have some super thin ones on amazon for like 45 bucks check out my tool box tour they are in my box
lol. Make Craftsman Great Again
True craft isn't that a older pep boys tool line?!
The switch being the opposite way on the ratchet actually makes more sense. Righty tighty lefty loosey.
@stv-gq4vi

No the switch is opposite the side turning towards, but it's only opposite if your used to all the other brands Snap On, Mac, Matco, Cornwell, Craftsman, Proto.
The Milwaukee impact gun is it meant for abuse like dropping it or somebody it doesn’t respect it because they got it for free let’s put together a toolbox tour of the toolbox that you’ve actually paid out-of-pocket for it and you can fill it with the five tools that you bought at a garage sale
