I wish James was still doing this. Talk about brining the everyday guy into the wine world in such a fun and informative way. Love the price points here, 4 under $20 and 90 points! that's fun. These youtube under $30 challenges and some of his other challenges during this series can be watched again and again.

My favorite part is when Mr. Suckling is at the check out register. I could only imagine what it would be like to go wine shopping with him. Totally funny and a REAL guy. I loved when he said that the Bedrock was awesome. True California style.

it's funny just how famous Gary has become in the last two years. Just awesome watching these two taste wine. It's a fun hobby.

This is a great video from 10 years ago. Really nice watch.

James has such a great palate! He rates high...but he is usually spot on for me.

I think the intent was to showcase that 90+pt wines can sell for less than $30 each.

James, I am concerned that your ratings are ALWAYS higher than everyone else’s. I’ve made the assumption that you are trying to appear first in all the negociant and retail listings for any given bottling, or you are courting wineries to build your own inventory. Either way, I have been consistently disappointed with the bottles I bought on your rec.s and have, therefore, suspended buying anything you alone rate. Additionally, I now disregard your ratings on everything else. I don’t know how you’ll reestablish your credibility with true connoisseurs, but you’ve lost me for good. I thought a former fan should be honest with you.

For being a wine critic, james can't even differenciate grapes.... how do you trust this guy

This guy is so irritating. He’s just a gimmick on you tube. James is the one I’d like to listen to but this guy just talks over him. If he just calmed down, listened and didn’t sound like he was on amphetamines it would be better.

It is actually one of my favorite wines. It sounds counter intuitive but it is amazing.

Really bad pronunciation of aglianico guys come on... you’re professionals, learn the pronunciation

It´s wine not mouthwash, don´t judge a wine until you have had it in your mouth for at least a minute.
