his technique isnt quite as complex as scratching on turtables he uses his effects unit to gate the sound at a fixed interval which he switches back and forth between 1/4 to 2/1 rapidly and the deck is set to loop a scratch sample which again is run trough the same fx unit he also adds phaser/flanger for taste , manipulates the speed and length of the loop which gives it nice variety

Still. Zabiela is skilled as fuck. He uses every piece of hardware on his setup, and he does It so eficiently. There is a reason on why Sasha picked him up as a pupil and why, for a long time, he was the oficial beta tester for Pioneer products...

Fanciulli is one of the best in the world. Unreal mixer and isn't as flashy as Zabiela. Nic's mixing is on point every time and he knows what tracks to play at the right moment.

Very true mate, but still James seems to be a step ahead when using CDJs. Only other Dj i would consider up there (though not as technical) would be Eddie halliwell back in the days at his best.
