Great Rivalry. As an ex Marine myself I understand what both are saying. The country used me, but at the same time I used the military to get what I want to. It is what it is on that. So yeah i understand what Storm is saying, but as an ex Marine I am on team **Gunner**. You all can say whatever you want about the military, but as **Gunner** has stated without it nobody would have the freedom to even think the way the way most folks do now.

Storm has a solid point. Nobody truly cared about Gunner until he tagged teamed with Storm. The worse part Storm never received any appreciation from Gunner. I mean Gunner even admitted that he never thanked Storm, and then dropped, 'I was in the military so that's more than a thank you, you deserve.' And, people are actually eating this up to say Gunner is in the right. C'mon now. Yes, Gunner deserves respect for doing a honorable act by enlisting but c'Mon. No one should really use, 'I was in the military' as an excuse all the time, IMHO. Either way, it's a fairly interesting storyline. (+)

awsome promo by gunner and storm man loving the rise of gunner and storm always shines in these one on one feuds enough tag teams now he needs to be like this and win world title this year can't wait for gunner vs storm at LOCKDOWN

Because this is TNA and modern pro wrestling, Im sure Storm will automatically turn to a cowardly heel just like Magnus. Which will destroy his character even more.

it's been over 3 years since Storm hasn't appeared as a heel... that's weird to see him like that again!

But Storm is completely right.

James Storm made the right decision to turn heel again. He needs to worry about getting back into the World Title picture. Nice guys FINISH LAST! It's a fact of life.

If you think him going heel will put him int he world title picture then you're mistaken. he stood a better chance as a face. Now they'll probably strap him to another tag team again. Or stick him somewhere in the mid card. There is no world title future for storm. Also everything storm said was true. And even the crowd was mixed on him. Some were cheering others were booing. He hasn't made a complete heel transformation just yet.

Rabid Churro Even though there is a lot of validity, to what you are saying., If TNA "tries" to allow Storm to ratchet up his heel persona. Even if they allow him to reunite with Bobby Roode, for BEER MONEY 2.0 on "Team Dixie". He could squeak in a 2nd World Title win. I'm not saying that he's ever going to be a multiple tile World Champion, But 1 or 2 title reigns in not completely out of the picture. Even Bully Ray can say that he's a 2 time World Champion. And one of the reasons why the crowd is mixed on Storm, is because Gunner keeps bringing up the Military background. He's becoming soft, in the eyes of fans, who are desperate for a rougher edge to Pro Wrestling. If Storm ups his heel persona a few notches; he could ride a tidal wave to 1 more Title shot. After that; he's essentially a life-long mid card player. Heck; if Daniel Bryan can be one of the top mid-card baby faces, by sticking 2 fingers in the air, and always chanting, "Yes". Then pretty much ANYTHING is possible in Pro Wrestling....

mindphreak4money Storm doesn't deserve a World Title Shot at all. Because unlike him that Gunner deserves it more. Because if it wasn't for Storm screwing Gunner from becoming World Champion then Gunner would be World Champion. But no Storm made it personal because he thinks he deserves a "thank you" from Gunner. Just because hes not the World Champion. Yeah that's right that's fucked up. But the only thing Storm deserves is a ass kicking from Gunner. That's all and that's it.

EnforcingJusticeForever Well; even though you might be a fan of Gunner. You're only reviewing one side of the history book. Let's not forget; that if it wasn't for Gunner hitting Storm from behind during the FEAST OR FIRED match, and then stepping on Storm's body to retrieve the Briefcase; then it would be James Storm who would have retrieved that briefcase. So technically; it was supposed to be Storm getting the World Title match. But Gunner gave him a cheap shot, when Storm wasn't expecting it. Secondly; Gunner thought that he could pacify Storm by winning the briefcase for the Tag Team title shot. That's even after Storm implicitly told him, that he hadn't forgiven Gunner for taking his shot at the World Heavyweight title. Third; as soon as Gunner opened the Briefcase, and realized that he was getting a World Title opportunity, he started looking down as James Storm. Even though it was James Storm, who had been carrying Gunner since they had teamed together. Fourth: Have you noticed, that as soon as Gunner lost the World Title match, the TNA writers have NOT seen fit to give him a rematch for the title? Even with MVP in charge of "Wrestling Operations". TNA realizes that Gunner NEEDS a lot more seasoning, before he is any where near ready for the main event spot. And no amount of fan adulation is going to change that. That's why he immediately was thrown into a feud with James Storm, to develop his own persona. Even though, I think that this "dutiful son" version of Gunner is over done and very sappy. Facts are facts. And they are proven, by the results that you see. Gunner NEEDS Storm, more than the other way around. Gunner should be kissing James Storm's ring, with appreciation.

Slightly but bobby roode basically just said he carried beer money and james reeked the befiets kinda the same but whats differnt is storm said gunner was a nobody before the tag team roode said storm was a nobody while there we a tag he wouldnt dear say storm was noboby before beer money considering storm was one half of another great tag team

This makes no sense. He stop you from becoming world TNA champion, but he have a reason for it? A selfish one. Just beat his ass, Gunner. Why do you have to hear what he got to say? "This better be good"? I thought it was good becoming a world TNA champion. They just gave us a talking segment for no reason.

You know this is now starting to become a running gag in TNA where every time James Storm winds up teaming up with someone, He suddenly turns his back on them the next and betrays them. It happened with A.M.W, it happened with Beer Money, and now it's happening with him and Gunner. He keeps this up and nobody is going to even dare be his tag team partner cause James would be known as not "the Cowboy" but as "the Tennessee Backstabber." I think that'd be an interesting gimmick for him but that's just me.

RePoa21 Had a feeling i missed a certain detail there. Yes you are correct Bobby Roode (Back when he was called Robert Roode at the time if i'm correct) Did in fact betray Storm. Still though it does seem like every time James Storm teams up with someone it's destined to collapse as fast as it started once it starts to become popular and successful.

They could’ve book it better like have James Storm say he’s sick and tired of people screwing him anytime he gets a title shot. & Gunner could’ve been something big. He could’ve been the next Batista. Like why he couldn’t beat Magnus for the World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary from Magnus instead of Eric Young (cause he wasn’t ready until 2015 cause Eric Young’s babyface character was goofy). & then MVP turns heel like have Gunner in a Six-Man Tag Team Match with Kenny King & Bobby Lashley vs The BroMans (Zema Ion, Robbie E & Jesse Godderz). & Kenny King & Bobby Lashley start beating down Gunner & MVP shows up to the stage smiling. & instead of Eric Young turning on Bobby Roode in 2015, James Storm turns on Bobby Roode in 2015 & start the heel turn there not in 2014. Eric Young will turn heel in his own ways like in 2015 you naw mean.

I still think Gunner should get an upper hand. Storm has been there, done that. He is in the limelight, even if far fetched comments below are 'dismissing him' as not as 'relevant' or trying to remain interesting' Storm has too much talent to be non-relevant just this far in his run. Again, Gunner should get an even base, that's the whole point of this rivalry. If he looks bad at the end of this, it will only bury him instead of giving him a commendable run.

I met james storm backstage he was epic to me I asked why turn heel and he said I haven't be a heel in a long time so ya its a bit wired
