JAMES STEWART & RYAN VILLOPOTO Unseen Footage from 2008 MXoN

Спорт

If you're a true ripping OG Vurbmoto fan, a few of these clips might ring a bell. If you're not, or heck even if you are, these (mostly) unseen clips from 2008 are sure to peak your interest. Check out some rare footage of the elusive James Stewart practicing alongside Ryan Villopoto, Tim Ferry, and Brett Metcalfe in England before heading to Donnington Park for the 2008 Red Bull Motocross of Nations.
Our friend David Bulmer makes an awesome cameo in this as well, hoping that he feels foolish for saying the words that came out of his mouth!

At the top level, I think you would find that minimum speed in the corners is higher now, due to the ECU and FI tuning. This is what makes modern 4Ts so fast. The power delivery at small throttle openings gets refined every year, and for the top teams, every bike is mapped to the riders own style and preference. The difference is today, you can buy a bike off the showroom and do this yourself with your phone!

AMA has nothing to do with it. MX is a tiny niche sport, and there is just no payoff for big money corporate sponsors like there used to be.
