When they’re just sitting on their bikes in the pit area or whatever I realized it sounds exactly like a local track. Really makes you remember these super humans are still just like the rest of us.

Seeing steward on green reminded me of how good he whas. Perfect season was the best.

I love how the USA of Nations team that year was all Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders that year

Yeah how did that work?! No red bull logos anywhere. Love seeing red dog out there, solid rider and extremely down to earth, be interesting when his kid turns pro!

@@carlstanton2550 I’m pretty sure it was just factory Kawasaki when he had the red bull deal and then he had to drop it when monster became the teams title sponsor. So at this point he IS a monster energy rider

@@carlstanton2550 He didn't wear a Red Bull logo. But you don't see a monster claw on his helmet or his gear besides on the back of his legs. He was approached by RedBull in 06 but his team went Monster Energy and he was under contract...I don't know if you remember, but Stew used to take the monster bottles off the podium and post race conferences cause he didn't want anything to do with Monster

@@trevdawg1972 He was Red Bull the entire time...the team was monster not Stew...He never thanked MONSTER...even in 2014..he called the race "The Cup" instead of ME Cup

Nah dude their train incredibly intensely. This was just warm up practice. During the actual season in between the weekends the riders go through hell and back to became faster, stronger, more fit, just to gain that extra little edge. They are easily some of the most fittest athletes in the world.

At the top level, I think you would find that minimum speed in the corners is higher now, due to the ECU and FI tuning. This is what makes modern 4Ts so fast. The power delivery at small throttle openings gets refined every year, and for the top teams, every bike is mapped to the riders own style and preference. The difference is today, you can buy a bike off the showroom and do this yourself with your phone!

AMA has nothing to do with it. MX is a tiny niche sport, and there is just no payoff for big money corporate sponsors like there used to be. The money has been sucked out of the sport, and the AMA, FIM, Feld, etc can do nothing to stop that economic reality. Also, kids these days spend all their time inside on their asses playing video games....
