Try to get more boutique builders. I loved seeing Benson Amps on your channel and now in your store. Just a few brands, King Tone, Cornerstone, Chase Bliss, Spaceman Effects, Kasleder, Echo Fix, Crazy Tube Circuits, Hudson Electronics, Jam Pedals. Theres so many amazing small companies out there that i wish could have the outlet of a giant like Sweetwater. I know a lot of those companies are too small of an operation to be able to sustain a business like Sweetwater, but it would be cool to have a boutique section on your page where the stock is limited, but still an option. Then u guys would truly be a one stop shop

applause, that is dedication… perhaps one feature should be included in future updates, the amp plugged into 220/230 V most of the “plexi”sounds that got under our skin came from 220V powered amps. From personal experience I sadly must report that “The” plexi sound can not come from a 120V outlet.

Probably the first and only pedal that catches the essence of the whole plexi-experience, the warmth, complexity, sag, clarity and singing 3D-qualities. Also the real cab and micing part, and correct speakers. Most other alternatives are only scratching the surface I feel. The Bogner la grange was really good but had problems with the switching. Great job! Im buying it for going direct!

Been wishing for this pedal since they launched the first three. Honestly it’s the power amp emulation part that really sells it for me. I’ve been loving my ToneX captures because it feels like I can really hear those power tubes compressing. This pedal has that same feeling. I don’t need another digital amp, but I can’t help myself. I gotta have this one.

I have the Tonex and now the Lion. The Lion wins hands down the Tonex just doesn't take pedals the way the Lion does and once you turn your EQ or tweak anything on a capture it doesn't do what the real amp would do but the Lion does. Lastly digital vs analog. Lion all day.

I finally picked up a Lion this week, and it really does sound incredibly close to the real thing. Way beyond the Axe-FX 2 days and such. But as someone who has 4 UAFX pedals, it’s kind of a bummer how much functionality is inaccessible without using the app. The Mac desktop OS version of the UAFX app is no longer working (I guess they’ve given up on supporting that option), and the iOS version is extremely annoying and doesn’t pair reliably, even after years and years of development. Once UA eventually stops supporting that mobile app, all of those presets and features will be inaccessible. It’s so much money to spend knowing that the product’s lifespan is likely to be quite short even in comparison to earlier, self-contained digital modelers.

I have the Dream 65 and use it at church every Sunday. I am thinking about the Lion. What I do not understand is why the BlueTooth on all of these units is so buggy. It is quite possible to just act like it does not have it at all, but it is such a nice pedal it is a shame that they cannot make it connect and respond any better. I understand that the Lion has a lot of switches on the phone app that cannot be accessed via the knobs only. This is going to be a glaring issue for many users. I do love my Dream 65 in spite of these issues.

Ed's sound was never in your face fuzzy and had that room air even though Diver Down Starfleet Project and 1984. I'd probably run that pedal through an old dbX D-esser to tame off the top end fuzziness. Just saying

What all you amp pedal designers forget is as a guitar player I want a pedal that sounds like my amp in the room. You don't even allow guitar players to create their own in the studio tone due to the fact you've already predetermined what our studio sound should sound like. This is yet again a producers re-amp tool. You show a bunch of nice Marshall amps but that pedal doesn't sound anything like those amps in the room live

Another pedal I want, but I will not buy. If I did, I would be totally locked out of doing anything with it...concerning signal chain. WHY CAN'T YOU TURN OFF POWER TUBES ON THESE MODELS...FOR PEOPLE THAT WANT TO USE THIS AS A PREAMP IN THEIR AMP???? When people say "well, the original didn't have an effects loop"....I say " well, the original had a speaker cab and real tubes too". I like the UAFX OX stomp...but I will not buy because it doesn't do power tubes and no XLR out...headphones out too for that matter. I feel like UAFX spends all their time in a home studio and NEVER hits the road with their stuff. Sounds wonderful....complete lockout other than that. To all the people who tell me how the original amp worked....I OWN THESE AMPS...I KNOW WHAT THEY CAN DO. THIS IS A PEDAL, with cab sim...please don't ask me to be a purist about it. It really is the case that I want it to work....I had the Rube, Dream65, and Woodrow (bought them all day 1)...what a bummer for being the preamp to working with the rest of the pedalboard. Maybe UAFX will release a power tube pedal....then I can shut up about this....at the same time they release an update that allows you to turn off cab sim for later in the chain. Then I am in.

Why would anyone buy a one trick pony like this UAFX gear? Sure, sounds good but does one thing. Amp profiling tech is taking off big time. Gear like Tonex and NAM open source is about to change everything. Tech that allows amp profile contributors to be world wide... not just 3 guys in a UA lab. Oh, and as much as he's saying this is no amp profile.. got news for you... if its not the real thing, it's a profile.

The marketing idea is that this is somehow a dynamic capture, not a single profile… and it might be. Also it’s marketed for people that switch from an amp. Those people are conservative, they don’t want menu’s to scroll through…

I’ve got a PhD in computational electronics and I can tell you they ran a simulation of the whole circuit and not just an IR model. It might not make a differ nice but I know an IR would never work for a lot of cases in my work.

Have you ever heard Grim Reaper? Nick is not exactly a connoisseur of good guitar tone.
