    Not sure where you're coming up w this... 99% of what I've released on this channel is all me, the exception is one video of band practice w my old band, and one video of a woodwind instrument being played by my former band mate/ bassist. My other channel is all me. If I had what you're saying I have, things would be very different. I wouldn't live like a hermetic recluse, in fact, I'd spend vast amounts of time w my peers. The grass is always greener on the other side, my friend, and trust is a very expensive commodity to earn.

    Some people are douches, while others are down to earth, it's part of human dynamics. You have a few alternatives, dwell on it until you get sick, leave/diy, or get over it, and find like minded individuals to work with... There's also another thing you're forgetting, everyone has bad days. As far as businesspeople go, the best way to remind them that something is broken is by not giving them your time or 💰, they'll clamour very quickly once their life blood is taken away. In the 70's oil prices skyrocketed, people were pissed but didn't go ape shit, instead they got together and boycotted the shit of the oil companies, thus reducing oil prices w out any blood shed, or violence. War is and should always be a last result. In regards to Munk, it's admirable that he's not too famous to do the interview himself than sending his tech.

    IKR?? xD I said the same thing. Im over here with just my ONE Ibanez RG7, ONE Crate combo amp, and ONE pedal (My pedal is actually Munk's signature Majik Box Krush pedal that he mention in the video!). Id kill for Munk's rig though.

    Yeah, I didn't realize having 20 something pedals was "keeping it simple." Hell I must be playing in the stone age then lol

  • @NateBliss

    @NateBliss

    That is actually pretty simple in terms of general configuration. While there is a load of pedals and stuff, the core setup is still pretty simple compared to a lot of pro guitarists. Its pretty much Guitar > Stompboxes > amp. You don't get much more simple than that.

    You don't really need to be a shredder to have a floating Edge tremolo. Idk where you got that idea.

    If they opened it to the public they would be backed up for years, when everyone would be just ordering RGs with slightly different specs. The Prestige stuff is cracking quality, and the J Customs are perfect. I've just got an Ibanez Premium the other week, can't complain about it.

    When talking about his guitars he seems to have to try to fit in with a certain image. Almost to the point of being cliche. The bat inlay. Saying that they are supposed to be a "nu metal" band, when talking about the finishes and the single coils. Not trying to talk trash here, either. Just an observation.

    Hahaha He exclaims at 5:50 that his amps are pretty basic. His set up is complicated as fk. I have many guitars, and 1 amp, and a mixer. Nothing else haha. I would say Matt tucks set up is OST basic than this. Munkys rig is almost pettucci complicated

    I know what you mean but I prefer this way. There's number of players that know every piece of be that new or old gear inside out and backwards. Know everything about stacking pedals and how to fine tune their new signature harmonic fermentor to get that elusive haunting yet expensive note over eyewateringly boring elevator blues progression but they dont have a single decent song. 10 000hrs spent on gear forums. Usually they also look like shit. Whereas Korn has great songs that have very innovative guitar parts and sounds. Actions speak louder than words kinda deal.
