James Mitchell is still AMAZING on the mic. Criminally underrated manager who has always delivered A grade promos consistently. Although, I feel his talents are being wasted on Abyss in his current state. I KNOW he can get back into feasible shape and can be truly be a monster to be feared again, but all I see when I look at him now is Joseph Park in a mask; which is bad because they're supposed to be portrayed as two completely different entities but I just don't see Abyss when I look at him now. IMPACT really needs to give him around 6 months+ off, get him back into shape, grow his hair out (If Taker can do it, he can do it too), bring James Mitchell back full time and you WILL have gold. I really want to see the REAL monster return before he retires.

I can't wait until next week, Abyss vs. Kongo Kong Monster's Ball match it's going to be amazing. Abyss is a legend he's been in Impact for a long time, he's won all the titles except the Impact Grand Championship, they should induct him into the Impact Wrestling Hall OF Fame.

He's right up there with people like Paul Bearer, Jimmy Hart, etc. The only two people I'd say completely outclass him are Paul Heyman and Bobby Heenan, mostly because they're in two completely separate classes of their own. Heyman is a god on the mic. He can get you excited about anything. Heenan was simply the best heel manager in history. Conniving, backstabbing, malicious, and absolutely hilarious. When he went to commentary he became the single greatest color commentator in history, bar none. Other than those two, I'd say James Mitchell shares that highest tier with the legends.

Mitchell is very underrated he was so creative in ECW he put completley no gimmick wrestlwers in to something wich was taking really seriously and he was awesome in TNA too . he is one of the most udnerrated managers in wrestling history !

I disagree. The whole Joseph Park/Chris Park thing has been great. His full name is Christopher Joseph Park, so it has even more grounding in reality that he switches personas to one that has his "other" real name.

For a company struggling it seems to be more of a show then ever for some reason. my cable company don't get pop tv no longer don't get to watch many episode's. not greatest of show but there working towards decent stories just get lil corny at times but there trying there way to compete with all wrestling

We all know that. That's the POINT. Christopher Joseph Park (also his real name), as the TNA character, suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder. When he's Christopher, he's Abyss. When he's Joseph, he's a normal guy. The original storyline was all about finding his "brother" Chris when everyone clearly knew, but didn't dare say, that he was Chris. You don't poke the bear. Jimmy Jacobs poked the bear. THAT'S THE ENTIRE POINT OF THE STORYLINE. Get with it.

I always liked Father James Mitchell as a manager, he pissed me off when I was a TNA fanboy back in 07 and in 08, but he was a damn good manager for Abyss and even for Judas Mesias.

Never realized how much James Mitchell feels like a character played by George Carlin.

F*ck yeah. Abyss was always one of my favorites from this company.

I've said before, at the risk of getting decimated by comments, that I have been greatly underwhelmed with Abyss. He always looks so clumsy. Tonight was the best I've seen him move in the ring...still clumsy though.

"Kongo Kong" looks like the offspring of Rikishi and Awesome Kong.
