I drive a Renault Clio which is pretty much the same thing and while it is a ton of fun on mountain roads, the build quality is insanely poor, especially when it comes to it being soundproof. At 130km/h (speed limit on our Italian highways), there is a nasty sound coming from where the doors "meet" with the pillar around the mirror area which is caused by cheap panels not properly fitting where, or as, they should, thus making you feel as if you were inside a blender. You can offset this by turning up the volume of the radio or by buying some aftermarket panels that snap into place and cover the holes, but that only works if you're alone in the car, if you have passengers with you, holding a conversation with them is pretty much impossible; not without shouting at each other anyway. Tl;dr, I'm happy with my car, all considered, but don't buy a Renault/Dacia if you will drive it anywhere other than a city/town, build quality is just really poor.

Thanks for the video. As a fellow car/motorcycle enthusiast I would love a tour around James’s motorcycle collection one day.

I liked the editing of this one and music choices. Brings me back to top gear in a way.

Just rewatched The Grand Tour with the episode in which this sweater came to light with Gannt.

I was looking at used Toyota Mirai’s the whole day today. It’s depreciated well and I love the style. I think Ill pull the trigger on one. Such a bargain

I love James May. He knows exactly what he wants from a car and gives very reasonable, straight-forward reviews. Clarkson only wants POWER and Hammond only has his mind on muscle cars or motorbikes. May simply demands a car does what it's supposed to do: comfortably and safely transport you from A to B with no fuss or unnecessary drama.

James is aging like a fine wine. Just like my channel

As a joke, when Tiff Needell of 5th Gear snuck onto the show to test a new car on the Top Gear track, he wore James' jumper to make it look like Captain Slow was power-sliding through all those corners.

That purple shirt is my favorite car show presenter

It's no wonder why James May selling his Toyota Mirai due to not enough hydrogen station in the UK but at least James still got a Tesla Model S P100D to use as it gets to be run on electric which is the best and fastest alternate resources to make a car run forever.

Over the course of this pandemic I've developed a serious crush on James May.... I really need to be let out of lockdown.

When I saw the thumbnail I really thought the title was James may getting rid of his favorite shirt and it almost gave me a heart attack

In one way, faster fillup, an advantage rapidly being eroded by faster charging tech. Otherwise they are slower, less spacious, more expensive to run and have a shorter lifespan.

@@bowencreer3922 they're definitely slower, fuel cells can't put out as much current as batteries, nothing to so with motors. You're limited by the volumetric energy density of hydrogen, which is 1/20th that of gasoline, and it's not going to get any better than batteries. And you still need batteries regardless, to supply the necessary current.
