In reality it’s not really totally down to Maddison whether he stays. The board will be absolutely desperate to sell him, get £40m or so and also get him off the wage bill. Plus he’ll want to stay in the England squad…….bottom line is HE’LL DEFINITELY BE LEAVING!

The problem i foresee with that (Sticking together) is the owner/Board, if a big enough bid comes in for Maddison, they will take it at the drop of a hat, even IF and i say IF Maddison wants to stay(Stick together) the final say will be the board/owner. Money talks and big bids talk louder than most. That is the way of Football clubs especially relegated ones where (even with Parachute payments) the players premiere league wages combined with loss of revenue in the premiere league will eventually force the club to sell their best players/assets. PS: Sorry for being Blunt about it, but thats the way things are.

Newcastle fan. It will not be his choice. I think as fans we think the players always force the move. If I’m in the owners position I’d be selling most of that team and pulling in as much money as possible. The difference in revenue is massive. So you have to sell. Harsh reality. Newcastle did it with Rafa and used the money to buy cheaper championship players. Two sides to the coin and Maddison will be the first on the owners list to generate revenue!

He'll definitely leave Leicester... He won't wanna be in the championship...PL is where its at. He deserves to play for a big club

As a Newcastle fan too many of Leicester's better players appeared to down tools after the WC. Lost my respect fs including Maddison

I can only go off when Leicester were live and you'll find most Leicester fans agree. If he comes up here he'll not be given a cop out option. He'll graft and produce or he doesn't play.
