Great conversation between both fantastic authors, what a wonderful idea to have them both in an interview! I adore James Lee Burke books since they are published and read them with pleasure. He is one of a kind; not only as an author but also as a human being, wonderful person. Looking forward to his next novel. John Grisham has a totally different style in writing and he is also amazing as a writer and I like reading his books. The world is a better place with those brilliant authors and the books.
James Lee Burke is such a character, he just cracks me up!!! Love that man, he has given me hours of joy and tears.

Unreal. My two FAVORITE authors of all time in one place! I met John on a flight from London to Dulles and he was writing Runaway Jury. He is amazing! Also, JLB is a master of the language and have been a fan forever! Thank you both for creating provocative protagonists, amazing narrative, and for changing the world with your gifts.
LOVE that you talk about channeling your books, Mr. Burke. When I met John, I noticed that he is incredibly intuitive and extremely perceptive about people. He pegged me in two minutes. He is the master of pacing a novel.
Fascinating from start to finish. JLB’s wisdom shines through. “All power lies in the world of dreams”. “We are descendants of the earth itself”.

I can't believe how strong JLB is. He lost his daughter last week and he has the strength to smile.
