probably the context of tone and enthusiasm. Jack was in a pretty similar linguistics situation when he first arrived in the future. (S1Ep2)

Hell yeah!

The enemies in this show were so creative and unique. Every episode gave you something different, and it all connected together to make such a legendary work of art. I'll never be able to watch Samurai Jack for the first time again, but that's outweighed by the fact that I've *watched* it.

For those interested, the farthest back I could track the "Somebody scream!" sample from is all the way back to the Belgian rave scene in the early 90's, a track called Vivisection by Space Trax. Seems someone in the team had fond enough memories of raves to add in a nice lil nod to them. Neato

I find it remarkable that the man who scored the TV shows of my childhood (The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack) also composed the score for two of my favorite films of my adulthood (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II). Well done, sir.
