I visited a few months back and I am a total noob in the cigar world and like you said in your video its really complex and can be a bit overwhelming. I spoke to one guy and he understood explain everything I needed to know, I said im on a budget and he told its not a worry start with this one and pair it with this after try this one. was brilliant! I even said its on my bucket list to try a proper Cuban and he sorted me one for me. I live in Cornwall so I don't really have a place to buy cigars other than online, but when ever I visit London I will make a beeline to visit you!

Been in here a couple of days ago. Very good service from the staff. There was this one chap, i think he might have been the head salesman. He was amazing. His suit was on point, and he walked around smoking a cigar. I'm 30 years old, but i wanna be just like him when i grow up :D All three salesmen looked like the kind of people that you'd want to sit down with and have a cigar. Very friendly and welcoming staff. A real shame that the lounge is closed for the moment.

I was there about 2 weeks ago. I sat in the chair Winston Churchill sat in and I smoked a Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill in the sampling room. An extraordinary experience

I live far away from the shop and chances are it will never have any sort of practical impact on my life. But I sincerely hope that it will stay the way it is now until the end of time. There are almost no such places left in the world and if I had anything to say about it, I'd put it on a UNESCO list or something. Not for the building, but for what's inside and the philosophy upon which it was founded. I also have to say that while this hobby tend to be plagued by form over substance due to it's symbol value, the choice to build on knowledge and love for the subject matter and the people within it, shows that the manager understands what's what. One would think that it's rather self apparent that it has to be that way, but every which way I turn, things usually are in a rather sorry, and dare I say soulless state. In my country for example, there is not a single tobacconist that I know of (and I think I've tried them all) that could be considered to even have a rudimentary grasp on any of the values touched upon in this video. It's a small country, but still. I think it's fair to say that the zeitgeist does not favor us at the moment.

I bought some great Habanos from James J. Fox shop. Great atmosphere and service but sadly couldn't buy too many as the prices for cigars in UK are prohibitive. Still, the enjoyment makes it worth it!

Tip: The first time I visited London I had 4 days in hand and visited this store on the last. Please be wise and visit this store on the first so that you can go back again. Cannot wait to be back. This time, I want to catch one of those events.

Where do this people store their suits? In the garage? I smoke cigars but I hate the smell they leave on your clothes

I was there last week during my holiday in London. Super friendly staff, great place, great atmosphere, good selection of pipe tobaccos, too. Don't miss the Churchill museum! Well worth a visit!

I'm 27 years old, I've gotten very much into smoking cigars and I tried some brands wich I bought online in the last half year or so, but I never entered a real cigar shop like this. And as you were mentioning it can be intimidating entering a classic shop like jjfox. So what should be expected of me when I enter your shop? Certainly a suit and good shoes I guess. I'll be visiting London soon and I would love to buy a cigar and enjoy it in your lounge.
