I like this James more than the Drunk James. He is more Patient, Shows his passios for what he has completed. He is a nicer guy! Just like nowadays!

@@due_2477 No. Check this video in 2:32:30 exactly moment, the last show of 1994, James celebrated the end of the tour with drink: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gpmNvMSTY8-0p7A.html And before that moment, he drink during the same video between songs of the show. And in 95 I saw he drinking too. I think he was sober in 98, during reload tour, because 98 was the only year between 82 and 2000 that I never saw he drinking during the shows. But in 99 he went back and stopped in 2001 when he went to rehab, as I said before... After Jason left the band.

He's probably talking about during the black album recording Lars would only play at night and James would record during the day time.

When I hear him saying for the last 15 years how much they didn't appreciate success in the past, and how much egos struck before, and so on. I see that in fact he was basically as open to appreciating his success and mentioning his childhood and egos back in 1996. So I guess something else had to happen then just speaking about it, maybe it is just alcohol addiction that was hurting, and Jason was not a right guy for the band. Anyway, I am glad Metallica is stronger than ever today.

Metallica has got the best rags to riches story in any bands history. James' struggles that turned into gold songs that do not age are proof. And those that talk shit about Lars can go fuck themselves, he isn't the greatest drummer of all time but he can for sure compose an awesome song and has his finger on the pulse of whats happening. They have by now become the most successful band of all time as what hes saying is 100% legit. I cant stand going to a friends who puts on the latest hit on their laptop speakers as some shitty background noise. I go deep on songs and lyrics. My life is like the worst movie you've ever seen and the song is the perfect soundtrack. lol

I'm italian and the thing that I see when james talk is the play and replay of the word YOU KNOW
