The best one was his DOUBLE step back against the jazz. Totally unguardable. He's gonna be pulling it during the playoff series and destroy the jazz with it. It's their weakness. Their coach never told them how to guard a double step back

I've been observing Harden's game for a while, and how he is so good drawing fouls on shots. 1st off, he is left-handed, and most of the NBA players are right-handed, ask a right-hand person what their primary arm is on defense and contesting shots is, it'll always be instinctively right. His shot form is very great, and has a high release point, so when a defender tries to contest commonly with his right, he will have a very high chance of hitting the arm(left). 2nd, in landing zones, harden is known ti be a deadly shooter, combine that with his size up moves that put a defender out of position and momentum, the defender will always jump forward, to atleast get a hand in his face. And harden usually knows this, jumping forward even more, and i think almost always subconsciously since he needs more power to get the shot off.

It's a miracle he was even able to play basketball snapping his head ane neck sideways 2 or 3 times a drive when anyone even came close to playing defense on him. Regular season baller for sure though 😂 Embiid learned well.

@@hinothingelse5304 I got to say that James Harden repeatedly comes up small in playoffs. 2015 western finals broke the record of most turnovers per game. 2017 playoffs western semi-conference finals game 6 vs Kawhi Tony Parker-less Spurs score 11 points. This year, without Durant, he lost game 5 pathetically only shooting 1 shot and committed many turnovers in game 5. The next game, he missed 5 free throws, coming up small in the 4th quarter and committed 3 turnovers one in the last 10 seconds. Countless meltdown. No stars had that many meltdowns. And yes, a meltdown is different from not clutch. Don't forget he shoots a lot, not moving when he doesn't have the ball. He indeed is a great player but not an MVP. You can argue Giannis get exposed in the eastern conference. But the guy guarding him is Kawhi Leonard. And he is young and without much experience in playoffs.

As much as I think Giannis played the most complete game this season. If we look at the meaning Most Valuable Player. You get games where the top players rest or they play limited minutes . I think Giannis as much as he played well has a very strong team. James harden and the rockets were 14th and most analyst such as Barkley said Houston weren't going to make the playoffs . Yet harden went on this run scoring 40/50/60pts now tell me is their anyone more valuable then him. He led the rockets from 14th to 4th. that's why I think harden should win because hes the valuable player that Houston needed to get to where they were. But even if Giannis wins it he deserves it but if we look at pure MVP it has to go to harden the game winner against the warriors was just a testament to his case for MVP

A lot of truly great players with diverse styles & abilities in the NBA at present. No wonder basketball has blown baseball out of the water...baseball needs to change with the times, instead of sticking with it's dated format...

Escape Stat padding and flopping at the expense of your teams success won’t get you the award. Giannis could’ve easily averaged over 30 a night with more minutes alone. If you believe half of the court(defense) does not matter at all then harden is your mvp. But if you use common sense and look at the whole court not just half of it, even still Giannis was a more efficient offensive Machine then Giannis is the mvp. And you saw that the vote was not close at all
