Harden more influential to modern basketball than curry. Not everybody shoots from 30 feet like curry so idk y every acts like he’s the one who changed basketball meanwhile harden was the guy who started taking 10+ step back 3s a game which is basically how basketball is played now in 2023

@@ballsballsballs3617 Nah curry def more influenced modern basketball than harden, teams run small ball more than ever, shooting way more 3s. Just having curry on the floor changes everything. Harden does spam a lot of stepbacks but no player i can think of that currently does that than luka but thats about it.

Small ball lineups came popular cuz of harden lol, rockets used to throw out pj tucker but it didn’t matter cuz it made their offense so deadly running through harden. And there r so many players that play like harden than curry. Only dame and maybe Trae young play like curry. Luka and Tatum 2 of the top young players both have a harden approach to shooting with multiple isos and step backs a game. Majority of the nba has gone to a step back 3 iso type of shot selection not pulling up deep 3 and running around in circles around multiple screens like curry. I see more harden in modern basketball than warriors and curry.

@@ballsballsballs3617 teams are jacking up 25+ 3s because of Curry, from the guards to the centers. That's Curry's influence, but not everybody is shooting step-back 3s like Harden. I'll say Harden's playstyle is replicated more by guards and slimmer players but the shot selection by ALL positions is definitely Curry's doing along with Lillard.

@@217ShowOffBoii nah. Again harden and Houston were the ones that took the “analytical” approach that changed the game. Ur simply wrong. Curry maybe made people accept 3s more cuz he converted them at such a high efficiency. But harden and Houston r the ones that changed the game to teams either taking a 2 point at the rim or taking a 3 and essentially eliminating the mid range. Nobody shoots deep 3s they just shoot 3s and step backs. Harden influence > curry influence
