Is Paul George the most overrated player in the league? Seriously, why is this guy so popular? He never averages more than 22, 23 PPG. He goes through entire months where he's ineffective. Don't even get me started on how overrated his defense is. He's not even top 30 In DPOY conversations. He's barely above league average with 57 TS%. He isn't a playmaker. He gets empty rebounds (one of the league leaders in open rebound %). It's well documented how bad he is in the clutch. What am I missing here? He's not even top 25-30 for me.

Part of the reason why was because everyone 1-5 could guard any position, including Capela guarding PGs and CP3/Harden guarding centers. Harden was especially good at post D, so when big men tried to go at him they struggled to gain any ground. Harden is underrated on defense all because of that trash 2016 season where the Rockets had a ton of chemistry issues (Howard and Harden hated each other) so Harden got put on Shaqtin a Fool a lot.

Hardens effect is quite observable. PG13 looks more confident to take every shot he could take, kawhi much more comfortable now to take the ball down low knowing harden can always bail him out from the key and reset everything with minor effort. Just hope harden could be more effective attacking the paint coz its been inconsistent

Harden aint a bad defender, hes just lazy. He’s lead the league in steals before but he put all his energy on offense. Now that he has kawhi, pg and westbrook, he can finally spend more of his energy on defense. Hes not a kawhi or pg level defender but he’s great at getting steals and contesting shots

Harden finally has the right teammates. He dont match to play with a center who needs a lot of ball. He plays well with those guard and power forwards. In 76ers, Maxey is just a I thomas cannot say as a real big. Tobias is weak. In Nets, those bench players are really sucks. Clippers bench is really good , just Russ will give some minus effiency. In Houston, only CP3 is his best match but no luck. In Clippers, they have 3 more strong players. I think if they can win the match vs Bucks and Celtics, they can win the champion this year. I think zubic and daniel theis can block AD. If they afraid the injury they can sign howard or cousions again. Zubac and Russ can acts as Capliea to do the Alley hoop. He dont need a center like Embiid always hold the ball to shoot. He just needs a partner to do slam dunk near the rim. This team is perfect match for Harden to see the hope for champion.
