I find it’s more about the rhythm of the dribble, then step in to your shot. Spot ups have no rhythm so it might be harder to time the motion and release of your jump shot, at least that’s what I find lol

@@LFonzus 100%. for a player like harden when he was in his prime he was making something around 86% of his threes unassisted. The rhythm of off the dribble is what hes comfortable with so its not surprising his catch and shoot isnt the best

the greatest to ever play this game. imagine prime harden play in the 90s, no one would have heard of chicago bulls, or michael jordan.

@@deedhray7486 You can't fine someone for kicking their legs out when shooting because its not blatant enough. Players can just argue that its their natural shooting motion. Also anyone who plays basketball regularly and shoot off the dribble will know that putting a leg out helps with balance if you are moving in the air. Furthermore, if the refs are going to call a foul by kicking out a foot then a player would be stupid not to use this to their advantage. If your going to whine about Harden using this as a way to draw fouls then you also have to whine about every other superstar that draws fouls or you just being a hypocrite.
