this movie wasn't a film, it was a work of art.
i've never realized the poster looks like an hour glass till now...

He should've won the Oscar.
i dont think the best part of the movie was Aron finally freeing himself from the boulder, but when Aron, completely independent, finally says HELP
Clearly a lot of love and respect between these two. I find it endearing that James wants to know Danny's answer to a question about the writing; you know, the film is done, finished, but he's still keen to learn about the process of making it. Not many actors like that. I don't know why I should care, but I liked finding out that Danny went to the premiere of The Disaster Artist in London.
Impressed with the interviewer - gave the interviewees as much space as needed, and asked really appropriate and interesting questions. Great stuff.
I watched this film 12 or 13 times lol I'm OBSSESED with the story!
I like the interviews with both Danny Boyle and James. They seem to have such a good working relationship now which didn't exist before this movie. Much success to both of them, this movie was magnificent.
Just back from seeing the film - very powerful. Well done and thank you to all involved.
"It's very easy to slip into" ... no pun intended!!

James Franco is so cute! and he's so adorable when he talks. (= i loved his acting. Love the movie!
James is such a good actor. He made the movie seem so real.
loved that movie! :)
Two magnificent men talking candidly about the film they made about a magnificent man. This film took my breath away. I hope they all get the plaudits they deserve (including Aaron).
great interview
I loved this story... As a rock climber...as a human... No man is an island. Beautiful job boy...
Video tape that Aron Ralston took at that time is the most precious video ever.
Awesome MOvie and Awesome Actor!
He deserves 2 oscars!!
I know people are gonna disagree with me on this, but this is honestly the most life-affirming experience I've ever had watching a movie since I first saw the Shawshank Redemption several years ago.
probably the best movie interview
Saw the movie some time ago, but (literally) just finished reading the book. Amazingly inspirational story about the human spirit & will to survive. Mad respect to Aron for performing the unthinkable in order to facilitate his own escape.
music was awesome best, really natural when he cut his hand:::::::::::::::::::
im currently reading the book then i intend to watch the film, cant wait.
Why is this the only film I've not seen, yet the only film that gives the entire plot away, IN MASS DETAIL, in every interview.
amazing movie! i am totally enthusiastic about it 24h after i've watched it and i am pretty sure this enthusiasm will hold on the next couple of months... maybe years? i don't know, but i am like a big fan of this movie and it's one of my favourites. i am certain of it!
Goodness you can really tell just how much danny's accent rubbed off on James during this period, especially when you compare these interviews to other ones. Haha so prominent.
127 Hours is the second best film of 2010 IMO and the second best performance, right behind Black Swan and Portman in Black Swan. I'd love it if Franco won but I think Firth will win this year, who was very good also, but Franco was a revelation
I'm in love with this movie.
I'm not english but I must say Danny Boyle speaks really understandable english. I can follow every word he says and it sounds very smooth and clear.
i want to see this movie so much..considering iv'e been through something like this
sooo good
Just me, or does his accent keep changing to british? 'Hotel' 'levity'?!

Director12394 yeah but Aron had decided to not let his video tapes to the public because it was very personal and he made those tapes for his family and loved ones to see because he thought he was going to die. We should respect that.
Do you think he would ever release the actual videos/photos he took? Those would be absolutely incredible and compelling to see.
did aron made that video puplic, or have anybody else seen it beside him and james and danny.
best acting no one could of done it better !
What is the song at the end here please tell? Oh and this a a very inspirational movie and one of the best ones
I bought this movie today. I love it sooo much.
Um dos Melhores filmes que já assisti,Exelente!
i was hiking in alaska and came upon an ice cave. climbed down and a chunk of ice fell and pinned my leg against the wall. 3 days down there...luckily i didn't lose my leg.
@hipperripper Calm down, I was talking about the end of the video not the movie.
127 hours the pursuit of happyness the kings speech and the blind side are my favorite inspirational movies I love movies so if anyone has any other ones to add to the list please respond
Hell yeah James Franco's from the bay area! Palo alto's kind of close to where i live :D
No matter who wins this year, James Franco is without a doubt the Best Actor for his performance in this movie.
James Franco is underrated as fuck
love the movie
@AreYouReadyForThis56 i know, i have noticed that too, and i appreciate that. people who would thumbs down a video about something so inspiring is just wrong.

💖💖💖💖💖💖
What’s the song at the end of this video?
@Scuba0925 Too true. But he did amazing in this movie too..
This was such a great movie. Why as it been only released at a few cinemas? It hasn't made much money but i'd be surprised if this didn't get quite a few nominations at the academy awards.
videos about this movie are the only videos with little to no thumbs down
read some of the comments. 127 Hours was my second favorite film. Inception being the first, with a VERY VERY close thrid favorite of The King's Speech. I understand why TKS won, but I still hold to Inception being the best film of 2010...BUT, with that said. 127 was a personal favorite. I honestly liked all the nominations this year, I didn't dislike any of them. However, The Fighter was my least favorite.
3:40 so His role in Spider Man 3 playing New green goblin wasn't a physical performance?? Umm okay .
@georjab Colin Firth still did an awesome job in "The kings speech", and really deserved the oscar... But still. James Franco is a talented actor :)
@B10NICBURITO when he first started talking. i kind of like It.
@thestranger4812 No, not all movies. Many filmmakers today are too indulged in effects and box office receipts that they fail to make fully-realized films that reach their true potential.

@OriginalClownStory yes..
When i saw this movie.. as soon as the scene happened when he cut off his arm.. the guy behind me passed out.. i had to call 911 and they stopped the whole movie!! :(
It's on HBO go. Just watched it tonight
@Dutification must have been intense...
omg!@ his mustache
its irritating that firth is most likely to win the oscar, but franco deserves it
@Emapten good observation... i feel like an idiot for not noticing!
Amazing story. Go to desperate days in blue John To learn more about this amazing guy
Damn, Danny sounds really young.
Danny Boyle, you are a genius.
well ive seen the movie but i just bought the book
He must win it !!! He deserve it!
@dancebaby808 I saw the movie tonight and even as someone who enjoys gruesome, I had to turn away for a moment. It's very graphic, but I think It was even more so, knowing it had really happened. They definitely don't hold anything back, especially the last part where he talks about breaking through the nerves.
Not only does the poster look like an hour glass, but it resembles the last grain of sand falling to the bottom of the hour glass
@PIVOTIIIIIIIISTUDIOS It reminds me of Open Water and Frozen
they should have a best ending award at the golden globes because this movie would fuck1ng own it
@ThePremiumGoods I cried at that part :'(
just give Franco the oscar
@ShaolinPete They havent been shown to public, only family & friends
i agree im only on pg 74 but its awesome
It's 2020... KZread: *HIPPY BOPPY DID SOMEBODY CALL ME?*
@truecinema All movies are per definition art, just like all music. That doesn't mean it's always good, there is bad art too.
@ktm5194 he is doing 'Your Highness'
@Emapten ???
@MatthewGoodRox lol!! that's so true!!!..
OMG Danny Boyle is british .. my life is complete.

GhastCraft very confusing. Which panama city are you referring to?
@lazerbeak2125 maybe he has that accent.. like hugh laurie in house sounds normal but when he speaks for real its really english british sounding
James Franco has a slight accent...
@thestranger4812 not necessarily. i wouldn't call documentaries works of art. those are more informative than anything. they want to get a message across, rather than tell a story. i'm not saying that movies dont send messages, but u know what i mean. maybe the phrase "work of art" was not the right way to put it, but it definitely was a very appealing movie.
@crimsonvipor thats an opinion, im sure others would agree.
James Franco is adorable on so many levels
Accents tend to be picked up based on where you are, I went to the UK for a 2 months once and came back to the US and all my friends were asking about what was up with my accent...If you go somewhere for a bit, you pick it up.
@ShaolinPete I don't think he'll ever reveal them...
This movie was A M A Z I N G
@3ISAMAGICNUMBR what i dont understand is, how can a movie win: Movie of the year, in 2010, when its not released to the general public until 2011...
@miamid17 Colin Firth did a pretty good job as well...
