James Corden Does a Perfect NYC Accent

Ойын-сауық

After explaining to his American coworkers and audience members what a rag-and-bone man is, James and the gang put CBS Senior Vice President of Late Night Programming (West Coast) Nick Bernstein on the hot seat as they flirt with seemingly every brand under the sun. After, James gets into the headlines including an update on the gas pipeline hack and a marriage proposal using a biscuit from an unnamed fried chicken chain.

Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

I just love everything about this. It has a "Seinfeld" kind of vibe. It is a show about nothing, lol. If you watch the making of Seinfeld he and Larry David insisted on doing it their way despite what the network said. They only cared about being comedians and being true to themselves. They said, "We don't care. We will go back to being comedians in New York and forget doing a show." And we saw what happened there. This show also has kind of a Howard Stern show vibe in that all of the crew are involved personally and it is kind of politically incorrect at times. Its like a reality show about creating a show. It is heart warming and refreshing. The thing about James is that he has an innocence about him. An authenticity that we all can relate and respond to. He and the whole crew are obviously good friends and care about each other. James makes it feel as if he is just one of them. These guys could take this show directly to the internet and kill it. But it is makes it funnier that it is on a major network. And even better that it is on late late night. I love when James says things he is not supposed to and then just like a kid says, "Why? Why am I not allowed to say that?" He is so endearing. Add the accent and all his britisms ("Los Angeleeze," "I'm in bits, I'm in bits!" The three piece polka dotted suit, etc.) and it can't be duplicated. He has talent for days and has a great sense of comedic timing. Do not change anything about this. Or if you do change it let James lead the way. He is like that kid in school who was bullied and teased because he was a bit overweight and a theater geek who is now absolutely killing it. I love the addition of Nick to the show. He and Rob make the perfect "parents" to the unruly group. I never write a comment this long on KZread but I cannot get enough of James and the crew and the uniqueness and hilarity of this show. Love the New York accent btw. James nailed it. :)
