I thought George Stephanopolous asked probing questions. Then I watched Stephen Colbert, and he probed even more. Then I watched BBC Newsnight, and I thought her questions were extremely insightful. After reading all the comments, I want to say: if you haven't read Comey's book, do so. (Hint: I got it out of the library). It doesn't matter if you agree with him on everything; it's interesting and often humorous. Only the last third, if that, has anything to do with Trump.

What is it that I am missing why so many haters of this guy? It sounds like to me he tried to bring to trump’s attention about a situation that the FBI knew about that trump may not of known himself and how to handle this matter. Pretty cool if you ask me... secondly trump seemed pleased and friendly with Comey until he denied the special request by Trump for his loyalty. What that meant is only conjecture by me but I think we all know what that meant.

It doesn't have to be "lovely", he's an FBI director not a window dresser. He also comes off as completely credible as well as an accurate judge of character. In conclusion - the core assertion of the Steele dossier was correct - that Russia was involved in a concerted effort to meddle with the US election.

You need a hearing check. James Comey stated on camera the POTUS can legally fire the FBI Director. What more evidence do you need to realize Comey's own actions or lack of action got him fired?? Comey was being paid $185,000 / yr at a ten year term. That is $185,000 to do nothing legal and immorally pandering to one candidate over another without just cause.

Trump repealed 13 regulations for every 1 he implemented saving our country $22 BILLION! Trump’s economy, tax cuts, and trade policies has resulted the LOWEST unemployment rate in the history of our country in several demographics? Trump changed taxes owed by single payer after the first $12,000.00 they earn, but under former pres. every dollar over $6,350.00 was taxable and for married couples under Obama, they owed no taxes for the first $12,700.00 but under Trump’s Tax Reform, married couples pay no taxes for the first $24,000.00 - this affects all LOWER and MIDDLE wage earners. These are just a few facts in a list of so many! I encourage you to do your research with facts and documents; don’t be brainwashed by media. Why was it strange? Comey had at that point been attending WH meetings for years. Why do you think no-one else said good-bye to Obama?

Does anything Comey say matter anymore? It's hard to take him serious. He's like that annoying pebble stuck in your shoe

Matters more than ever because our nation is populated, apparently, with people who are unable to think for themselves, believe con men/grifters, and vote for imbeciles.

oh god, now i have to comment twice. his statement of moral equivalence at charlottesville??? does the FBI director himself not know how to find, on youtube, the video that's a couple seconds longer that gives the context and what he actually said??? this guy couldn't investigate my lost car keys!!!

The other sad thing about this whole thing is how too many people in the crowd are impressed by the dossier lies.

See what you and St Thomas a Beckett just claimed it as HIS Dinner, in fact it was a Loyalty Dinner 🍴, but Comey has no level sense of Loyalty! Hypocrites.
