It's… more of an INDIGO color.

Wilbert is more like dark blue to me.

1:51 Um, Wilbert isn't purple but it's nice they mentioned him even tho he never appeared in the show.

Yeah he's more like a royal blue, but sometimes that can be a colorblind aspect especially because he's not like Thomas blue. I would think since they had just put out Season 9 just recently a few months ago at the time which brought the adaptation of the thin controller someone at HiT who was very devoted to the past went all out and decided to give Wilbert a mention of all characters. I mean he sold ERTL toys in the early 2000's and he and 16 were easier to find in stores rather than online than the first batch of narrow gauge engines, Bill, Ben, Mavis, City of Truro, Oliver, Duck, Douglas and Trevor put together.
