He was drunk as a SKUNK. Plus, he invited me to his suite and I went with a friend. Hookers and drugs everywhere. He was a great man but in dire need of salvation and rescuing.

I discovered Rap around 1985. One year later I discovered the Godfather of Soul and I was nearly shocked in positive aspect. His music had all the grooves and beats before Rap existed. The musicians are fantastic.
