There are two types of Trident/Rocket 3..... those that have blown up and those that will - they all do !

@@rampakeshbharat1938 Good for you, I was just repeating a 'legend' of the time when quite honestly the bikes weren't perhaps built to such a degree of quality. Around those days there was a lot of industrial problems with the factories and everyone I knew who had a Trident/Rocket 3 had problems. Most got them to blow up after abuse/spirited riding..... One guy I knew bought one of the T160's in the 1970's and had it for years - about 40 - before it went bang. He lept it meticulously clean and changed the oil every thousand miles as well.....
