After hammering away at Bond for a bit, this is a perfectly guided (and succinct!) intro for Bond. Thank you! I love that modern tables have all this depth, but a little card at the bottom of the machine can't cover it well. I wish somehow Stern could make all the progression in the game far more accessible. Thank you!

I work at an arcade, and we just got 6 pinball machines. Everyone is obsessed with them. So much so that it is now the biggest distraction in the workplace, me included.

Such a meticulous and detailed video on how to learn what to do while playing this super cool machine. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for doing this. Ever since I saw a missile icon, I've been confused.

Incredible video - thank you for the concise description of gameplay and strategies! We tried this out last night and had much better games. Any advice for how to use the missiles best?

I'm glad it helped. Makes the games more fun when it all starts to click. My general advice is to know what your plan is with multipliers in the game. If you know you're going to go for those, try to save missiles and use them during that time. Otherwise using them in modes with combo shots such as Largo or potentially Q Branch modes that become a multiball once you finish phase 1 are all great options.

Great video! Simple, yet effective. Just curious, how do you start Q Branch modes? What do those exactly do? Maybe I missed that part. Anyways, excellent content. Look forward to more of your to-the-point videos. It’s like an appetizer version of attaining quick points, rather than trying to consume a full meal. 😂

I skipped over Q-Branch during this video for the most part, though you could see it happening in the background. I do have a video coming soon that will go over Q-Branch modes specifically, along with other videos for Villain modes, Henchmen modes. The villain one should be out sometime next week. But for Q-Branch modes, there's 6 possible modes. They all start on the right eject. To qualify them you'll hit various shots on the playfield a certain amount of times. Left Eject, Right Eject, and Right Orbit are easier ones to get as they take 3-6 shots each. Spinner, Rocket, and Pops also qualify a Q Branch mode, but they take a little bit more do to with I think 200 spins, 30 pop bumper hits, 25 rocket hits (though it's easier than it sounds). 4 of the 6 Q Branch modes actually have 2 phases, in which if you complete phase 1, then phase 2 becomes a multiball.

Thanks for the great and spot-on tutorials, always a pleasure to watch and learn. A question concerning the 7x activation: Would you also consider doing this during Bird Multiball or is it only recommended during Jetpack due to Double and Super JP?

Thanks for the tutorial. Just wish it had been provided on a James Bond (Premium or LE) with an actual Jetpack mech.

How do you make sure you use the 7x button before you use the smart missile button ????

With the most recent code update (v0.99), smart missiles are available when the LED flashes blue on the action button. Playfield multipliers are still represented as the color pink. The flippers will cycle the colors on the action button, you would want to make sure the button is pink and hit that first. Then the button would remain blue, since you've used the playfield multipliers but still have smart missiles ready to go. From here you can use however many smart missiles you have banked.

Let's say I hit the skill shot up the henchman ramp and the ball is held by the pop-up post before reaching the right hand flipper. When the button flashes blue I just hit it a couple times to get the points right away. Is there a better strategy? Hit the the button then hit a specific target? Wait a while until a high value shot lights up?

Anything you listed is a viable option. I'd say keep your buttons since you most likely will still have a ball save available for some risk free shots. From there you can decide what path you want to take to finish the mode. Sometimes I'll hold onto a button until the very end and only use it if I'm about to drain out (lose ball) and can finish the mode prior to draining.

It's two different colors. Red = missile, Pink = multiplier. Flipper buttons will change it back and forth.
