James Bond 007 | THE BEST OF JAWS
At 7'2", Richard Kiel towered over Roger Moore as the indestructible JAWS. Appearing in "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) and "Moonraker" (1979), he was the only henchman to survive 007 and appear in two James Bond adventures.
According to director Lewis Gilbert , Jaws was so popular that they received fan mail from small children asking "Why can't Jaws be a goodie instead of a baddie?" Jaws was subsequently turned into James Bond ally.
Here are the very best moments of Jaws.

I’d like to think of Jaws as the walking tank. He was a beast. And Richard Kiel was the perfect choice to play as him, may he Rest In Peace knowing that he made one of the most iconic villains ever.
Jaws is still bond’s greatest physical adversary, while blofeld and Goldfinger offered wit and intelligence to tangle with Bond, Jaws offered sheer brute strength that’s what made him such an iconic Bond henchman

The Egyptian scene was so beautifully directed....Kiel was absolutely, aside from Bond, one of the biggest treasures the series ever had...His stature, strength, and size were an abomination yet he was a survivor and had incredible charisma.....Moonraker really showed that he was a complex character...more like an anti-villain....than a true villain....Just a gem he was! He personifies the Roger Moore films....goofy...cheesy...but most of all....absolutely fun to watch!!!! Moore's flicks were probably my favorites and I am a gigantic Bond guy!!!

His turn from henchman indicated that although He was big and strong and virtually unstoppable, He was also intelligent enough to know that what Bond alluded to is that He and His girlfriend were soon to die too after He would "expell" Bond and Dr. Goodhead. My father and I are both SUPER fans of this film, and while I can’t deny that it’s incredibly flawed, there’s just so much to like. It’s got one of the best introductions with perhaps the best ski chase scene ever, it’s got a subversive and badass Bond girl (Agent XXX), it’s the best Roger Moore bind film, it’s got iconic scenes taking place at various wonders around the world and it introduces us to Jaws for the first time. What an awesome henchman made real by a giant and very well cast Richard Kiel. What a movie!
