It is interesting how the themes reflect the fashion of their time while still all trying to match the Bond style. From that angle the Billie Ellish one might be more interesting than this, which delivers the 60s sound in a more oppolent fashion, updating on production rather than on modernizing the sound. But of course Adele has this amazing voice and this song totally makes use of it.

This song has an elegance, this song is the face of Bond, I get goosebumps listening to this song

Fabulous: I have the Barry soundtracks on vinyl, and this is a tribute that is as good as the best. I still can't get over "Moonraker." I still remember sitting through the double-feature to see Sheena Easton over again: "For Your Eyes Only." but this is fabulous. In the category of hard acts to follow, this hit out of the ballpark. Skyfall is arguably one of the best Bond movies. Daniel Craig was superb, gritty and even vulnerable. Adele's song was epic and perfect for the movie. But Dame Judi Dench was devine. When the movie ended my eyes were red. Then I understood that M stood for Mother (Metaphorically and Symbolically). What a movie. Perfect execution in every aspect and lots of emotion.

Skyfall is far from the best Bond movie. It is indeed the best by a mile during Daniel's reign. You have to look at the classics such as Goldfinger or Dr No both Bond's played by arguably the best Bond: Sean Connery. Though I've always had a soft spot for Timothy Dalton in Living Daylights.

Dr. No was the first Bond movie that I seen and actually it's the first Bond movie in the series. Sean Connery is one of my favourite actors, I am a huge fan of him. Regarding Timothy Dalton as Bond - I personally think that Dalton was a head of his time as James Bond, especially in License to Kill. Dalton tried to portrait the role of Bond that Daniel Craig is playing these days - Tough, gritty and even vulnerable. For me Daniel Craig brought the character into new life and I actually see him as a development of Sean Connery and Timothy Dalton roles. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you will enjoy the new upcoming Bond movie 🙏

This is a very dynamic vocal performance. I love the nuance and texture of Adele's voice in this song. Very subtle inflections, singing and ending phrases so delicately, even through the nose (versus the throat), and then exploding into full voice. Amazing and very emotional.

I remember before this film came out, I didn't think Bond would reach the heights of the early films ever again.Then this came along with this incredible title track. I was absolutely blown away!

I just thought of this: Maybe the lyric, "You may have my number, you can take my name, but you'll never have my heart," has a different meaning. I think it's actually from Bond's perspective: You may have my number: "007" You can take my name: "Bond, James Bond" But you'll never have my heart: Bond sleeps around a lot but rarely falls in love with anyone or gives his heart.

Best bond film ever… what a song! Deserved more Oscar’s! Incredible movie

I think this is the best soundtrack song for a James Bond Movie ever. And I will say it is the best song I've heard in a movie in the last twenty years. To get me to a movie, I have a high bar. James Craig is a darn good James Bond, and Adelle delivered a one of a kind song for this movie "Skyfall."

I remember watching this movie in theaters and being mesmerized when this song started. I was never so immersed watching a movie in theater before. It was surreal.

When I first heard this, I thought Adele was saying "Let this guy fall" instead of "Skyfall".

She was set to do Quantum Of Solace but her theme was rejected 😂🤷‍♂️. Shirley Bassey’s theme was also cut last minute from QOS and we got Another Way To Die, however u can still hear Shirley Bassey’s theme in the film’s score and it is the absolute bollocks I must say.
