YOLT was the first Bond i saw in 67 so i have a fondness for it but there's no doubt which would be No 1
James bond was my favorite Bond, but Jaws was my favorite villain. I think Lazenby could have been really great if he stuck with the character.

My Ranking of the Sean Connery Era 'James Bond' Films : 6. Diamonds Are Forever (1971) 3. Dr. NO (1962) 5. You Only Live Twice (1967) 2. Thunderball (1965) 4. Goldfinger (1964) 1. From Russia with Love (1963)
“Never Say Never Again” grew out of Kevin McClory’s legitimate rights to the “Thunderball” story, based on his collaboration with Ian Fleming. It is superior in every way to the dull, dragged-out “Thunderball - a Bahamas travelogue with dubbed, mechanical acting and Connery going through the motions. By the way, it did well at the box-office and received better reviews than that expensive cartoon, “Octopussy.” Connery gave his best performance since “From Russia With Love” - which should top any Connery list. (It was Connery’s own favourite.) Old man Broccoli shat his pants over this, but it didn’t cut into his profits. “Petulant, goofball”? Your description of George Lazenby would fit Moore better! Lazenby was the best Bond, in the best film of all. He was a welcome change from Connery, and gave Bond more depth than Moore or Brosnan ever could. The notion of “Goldfinger” at the top of any list became tiresome years ago. Guy Hamilton was the worst director, incredibly unimaginative and lacking in style. The bulk of this film has Bond as a captive (he even bungled his use of the Aston-Martin), and the action is sparse and flaccid! Neither a golf course nor Kentucky provide particularly thrilling locations. Truly the most overrated film in the series!
Great ranking and nice video. I almost agree. It's either On Her Majesty's Secret Service or From Russia With Love the best one.. Hope you rank the other actors James Bond movies and maybe if you can rank all 25 James Bond movies. here is my ranking of all Sean Connery's Bond films from best to worst: 1. On Her Majesty's Secret Service 2. From Russia With Love 3. Goldfinger 4. Thunderball 5. Dr No 6. You Only Live Twice 7. Diamonds Are Forever 8. Never Say Never Again
Nice ranking. I almost agree. Hope you rank the other actors JB movies. 😀
Your problem is that you never saw any of the Connery's in a CINEMA or Movie Theatre. Otherwise, Never Say Never wouldn't be at the bottom. Anyway here's mine: 7. Diamonds Are Forever 6. Dr No 5. Thunderball 4. Never Say Never Again 3. Goldfinger 2. From Russia With Love 1. You Only Live Twice Btw, many believed Sir Sean anonymously played Bond again in The Rock (1996). Interesting theory and I'd buy it.
