The thing I love about Contemporary Dance (perhaps dance in general) when it is done like this is that it is a reflection of pure trust and expression. These two I actually believe are acting out James' lyrics in a living story. That is perhaps the best compliment I can give to the choreography and the dancers. I keep coming back to watch it again xo.

Can't get over the part at 2:40 when she points finger his way but he shoves it towards her and the blow she felt after it. Her expressions at 2:28 were so powerful. Also the way he broke away when she clung to his leg.

Holy hell.. the choreography really hit me in a spot it shouldn’t. I just recently went through a break up.. and just damn.

The emotion. The execution. This made me so emotional. I love this choreography so much!

Oh my gosh. Fell in love with Courtney Schwartz watching her do ‘Rome’. Little did I know I’d actually seen her before. Gosh she looks different with straightened hair

A big thank you to Ashton Kutcher for sharing this video on his Facebook page. I never would have seen it otherwise and that makes me sad since this performance was so emotional and beautiful. I got chills more than 5 times during this routine. Amazing!!

That's one of the best (worst) parts. It's so heartbreaking yet beautiful at the same time how elegantly they were able to capture that. If you've ever been in a relationship, you know all too well that game.

+Driden Pretty sure her point was that until that moment, the girl is so busy blaming him and clinging to try to fix the relationship on that basis, that she never accepts any responsibility for her part. In that moment, she does. And it is a painful moment.

After about 2.5 years later. I still watch this video but it has a deeper meaning to me. It used to be about a break up. An emotionally abusive relationship that hurt me so badly. But now I can say that I am happy. I’m healed. And this song and dance is about the forgiveness I have in my heart now. Thank you for the creators of this video where I have watched this and cried over and over again to release that pain. You got me through more than you can imagine with this art. Thank you.

This is probably my favorite expression of modern dance. It's a painfully beautiful song, the choreography is impeccable and captured the meaning of the lyrics better than the lyrics themselves, and the dancers' execution is as close to perfection as is possible. It doesn't hurt that Courtney is absolutely gorgeous.

Who on earth decided it was a good idea to choreograph my last breakup??? Because good job you deserve all the awards💗

Brooke Ross Don't be frightened to show people what you can do. You have talent. I'm also a dancer and I have been since I was 3, nothing is better than showing people what you can do and people liking it for the talent that you have. 10 years of dance and yes I still worry about showing people but ik that I dance for me and people will love it. Dance is an art, express yourself.

I never really knew what this song meant behind the lyrics until this dance. It's changed everything.

I really felt the tension between the two dancers, I could feel the break up, tear apart feeling. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a job done right. Kudos, both of you

there's no part of this dance routine that I am not in love with. Didn't know you could love a choreo that breaks your heart so immensely.

That’s so deep. In the beginning they were both on the couch ignoring each other, and even after all that in the end they’re back where they started 🤯 The choreo was also great! It makes me want to dance again ☺️

This was literally the best emotional story telling choreographed dance that I have EVER seen!!! This is absolutely beyond beautiful you guys are an amazing job! ❤️ Thank you I watched it so many times!

Really needed something like this. I just got out of an abusive relationship and I've been struggling a lot with feeling like I deserved every bit of what he gave me. This video, for me anyways, kind of illustrates what I've been going through. For the longest time I was his puppet constantly throwing myself back at him, because no matter how much he hurt me he told me he loved me. And now that he's gone it's hard to relinquish the hold he has over me. I was scared for far too long and this helps me see that I have to release it.

There is no such thing as watching this video too many times.....Absolutely amazing

For a dance with so many complicated moves, it's easy to understand every expression the art tries to communicate, kudos.

I just spent the weekend dancing with Chaz, Talia, and Courtney at Radix and they are all so talented and they inspire me so much

Absolutely beautiful, touching and heartbreaking. Amazing choreography and incredible dancers showing real emotion. I had been in a 4 year relationship with a lot of fighting and abuse, but just couldn't let him go even though I knew the relationship was mentally and physically destroying me I would beg HIM not to leave. I don't like to speak about this so publicly, but that's what I felt watching this video (esp. around 2:04). For anyone in a toxic relationship, as hard as it may feel while you're in it, it can and WILL get better (trust me I never thought it could). Bravo and thank you to the choreographer and dancers and everyone else who made this

I love how it shows the violence and physical impact a breakup has - even when you only breakup with words. I would want to show this to our divorce clients. Imagine to be their child and witnessing all this.
