James Baxter's Cooper T90 at Prescott Historique

James Baxter talks about his Cooper T90 series A / Formula 5000 car that he hillclimbs in the UK.
The car, along with others, was featured at Prescott Historique - an event at the Bugatti Owners' Club venue just outside Cheltenham celebrating historic cars from the early 1900s right up to the end of the century.

    Nobody goes motor racing to see "Stewards Decision Making". It has now come to the point where they interfere with every race. I remember that Cooper on the front of Autosport magazine. It was red, IIRC. Beautiful car and so well looked after, congratulations, and thanks for showing it.

    Probably a whole lot better now than when it left the Cooper works in Surbition. A really unique F5000.

    But the orange colour with the black stripes was the original colour as shown on the Cooper stand of the London Racing Car show in 1969

    True, but B.R.G with white stripes was always the official Cooper 'works' livery, and looks better.

    @@terryjacob8169 Well, yes and no. Even the Works-Cooper-Dowton Mini Cooper S touring cars of 1969 British Saloon Car Championship had the livery of bright orange (or was it yellow?) with black stripes. I think at that time the "national racing colours" did not make sense any more. The Lotuses were in Gold-Leaf colours etc. ... and John Cooper was not any more the boss of the F1 team any many more changes had taken place.
